I went to your store located in surprise, AZ at 655pm on 2/14. I placed an order to go thru door dash as i couldn't order online any other way. I ordered 4 twisters and a sprite. My order said it was ready at 647. When I walked in, I told the girl i had an order for pick up and that it said it was ready. She asked the girl in the back, a girl in her late teens/ early 20s with long blonde hair where one of the drinks were. The girl in the back was incredibly rude. She very loudly stated "yeah, we are really behind because there are like 5 twisters in this order!". I ordered my daughter a lulu sprite on the app. There is no option for nerds to be added so I left special instructions asking very nicely to add them for my 6 year old. 3 of the twisters were just sitting there and I was waiting for my 4th. I only live 5 minutes away from the store. By the time I got home, ALL of the twisters were liquid. To the point that no one wanted them cause it was like drinking flavored milk. Also they wrote "nerds cost extra" on the receipt and didn't put any in my daughter's drink, nor did anyone ask if I wanted to pay so they could do it like I asked. The lobby was full of people and I was appalled at the way she was talking constantly about my order and how it was putting her so far behind. I didn't know ordering drinks on the menu (no special requests on the twisters) was an inconvenience. I normally love this store and their customer service, but this was unacceptable and the quality of the...
Read moreNot at all what I expected. I expected to walk into this place and be inundated with a sweet sugary smell and a super cool design concept. Not even close! This is honestly a glorified Sonic with cookies. Walking into this place there is no sugary smell. In fact…it smelled dirty which was not pleasant. The front area was dirty and the outside sidewalk had drinks spilled all over the cement. It was super sticky and gross. There was a line and the place is so tiny that you honestly don’t have anywhere to stand without being in someone’s way. Very awkward. The kids running the place had zero friendliness/customer service. They didn’t explain the menu for drinks at all. Had to ask questions and they acted like it was a bother to answer them. Absolutely no system for organization at all. We ordered a Twister drink and 2 cookies and it took 20 minutes. People who ordered way after us had received their items before we did. And when we did finally get our order, it was incorrect. No bakery case to select cookies from…just a picture board on the counter. Just a super odd setup that honestly doesn’t work at all. The cookies were mediocre (Lofthouse cookies are way better! ) and the drink was no better than any other place in town. Hate to say it but with awful customer service, a funky smell, awkward environment and mediocre products, this place will not last in Surprise. Sad because it could be a cool concept if it was done correctly and not ran by a bunch of kids who...
Read moreNot for me. I got the chocolate chip oatmeal cookie and not worth the price. There were barely any chocolate chips, and I didn't really taste like oatmeal either. It mostly just tasted of butter. The texture was fine, but the flavor was not there. For a drink, I tried the Dr. Knievel, and it was decent. I couldn't drink it all because the sugar was overwhelming but made sense based on what was in the drink (Dr. Pepper, strawberry puree, vanilla, coconut, and cream).
The interior is pretty small. They have a couple of stools, but I just don't think there is enough room to sit comfortably. They have one table outside. The decor/ menus are very cute, and the cookie case displayed them well.
The service was really good, she gave suggestions, which is why we ordered what we did.
It is an interesting concept. Maybe in the summer, an iced tea or lemonade drink would be great. But with the heat, I would rather go to a place that had...
