The customers service was absolutely dreadful. The drive thru wasn’t swift. I was told it’s made fresh which I get but the workers obviously don’t understand that when they keep lying about being out of something but didn’t even bother to check, or forgetting stuff in an order. I saw the fountain drink machine right in front of me and the lady literally walked off to socialize with her peers and came back to say “we’re out of starry” literally lying cause your lazy and that falls on poor management. It’s a shame too. I was looking forward to trying this place as it was the only closest one here. They have one in Glendale but that’s too far. The fact my family and I went through a drive thru and got honked at others due to poor service with the workers taking between 30-45 minutes not only to get our food but our drinks. The girl who took our order look as if she was more interested in her conversation instead of serving the customers. She brought our food out after 30 minutes and then forgot our drinks. Then we waited an additional 15 minutes just to get our drinks then we didn’t even get our daughters drink for her meal. We eventually said screw it and just left. Spoke to the manager too and he offered me credit instead of my refund. I wouldn’t want the credit solely because after we got home and dealt with the hassle of the unprofessional food service worker our food was soggy and cold. Look out for a heavyset girl with blue eyes, black hair and she always wears the hat. That’s who we were having trouble with. Like as if she’s just there to collect her check instead of doing her job. The fact that I haven’t even gotten my credit too shows that management here is a joke as well. Thanks Jesús for nothing!!! Zero stars. Really disgusted and it just opened. When you work food and customer service for 3 years you look out for the pros and cons. This place is all cons!!! Not worth the price for literally buying slop. And we only got 4 out of 5 items we ordered. Shouldn’t have a drive thru if people like that don’t know what to do when it comes to being the premier business by serving others. Total was $38.37. Filiberto’s is more reasonable at this point and it’s fresh too. Just for cowboy fries and 2 drinks plus a kids meal. It’s...

Let's start with the good.
Best guacamole at a non sitdown restaurant I've had. Tasted fresh and seemed to be without preservatives, as it browned pretty quickly. But to me this is awesome.
The steak in my street taco was awesome. Great flavor and tender. All you can ask for. Most joints offer tough (presumably cheap meat), but burros and fries shined here.
Fries. The fries were cooked fresh and trust me when I say, large enough to share. I would say 1 order is more than 2 large drys anywhere else. Unfortunately they did commit a cardinal sin with the fries and served them without being salted. Might be a preference for me, but unsalted fries are criminal.
The not so good....
Chicken. I ordered a chicken SD BOWL, and for as good as the steak was, the chicken was bad. Honestly tasted like it was made in a large batch several hours before. It was tough and had a coating baked on, probably whatever it was sauteed with, but in any case not a fan of the flavor. It was bad enough I didnt eat but a few pieces. Someday might try for a fresh batch to compare, but the steak was so good, I doubt it.
SD BOWL. I like a good bowl. However there shouldn't be water soaking the bottom. I could literally pour the water out. Just made the whole thing a wet soggy mess. My guess they either used a unslotted spoon to put a juicy portion of pico de gallo on, or what seemed more likely given the amount of water, they poured the last of the pico de gallo on straight from a container, water and all.
Sauces. I'm a sauce person. I like a good red and green sauce. I didnt like either. For comparison sake, I enjoy both red and green sauce from FILABERTOS.
The So so
Service. Pretty long wait, which can be ok if that time is used to prepare fresh food. This was true in some cases, but not true in others (chicken). Also use the long wait to get drinks out. Wasted time getting drinks out after the wait for food.
Cost for 2 of us was $40. So pretty expensive, although we did mistakenly get 2 orders of fries (wont do that again), and I normally wouldnt get the taco and an SD BOWL. removing those things would have dropped the price to about $30,...
Read moreThis was our first time eating here. I am only able to give 4 stars since our drinks were a little on the warm side and they forgot to give us utensils for our food. Mind you I had gotten a burrito chimchanga style so I did need them. But anyways here's our experience.
The California burrito chimchanga style tasted really really good! The outer fried shell was really crispy but not hard. So the crust broke really easily and tasted good as well.
The sour cream and guacamole that I got with the burrito tasted home made! It didn't taste like the fake guac you get at other fast food restaurants.
My wife got the 3 rolled tacos with rice and beans. The tortillas on the rolled tacos tasted home made as well, made me reminisce from when my Nana used to make tortillas from scratch. The rice had a nice home made taste to it as well. The beans tasted fresh and home made also!
Now to where they fell short.
Both of our drinks tasted really good as well but, were on the warm side when we received them. We had to stir the drinks with our straws to make them cold with what little ice they had in them. Also, as mentioned earlier, we didn't get any utensils for our food except 1 fork.
To summarize,
Both of our plates tasted like if we had just went to a restaurant like Rio Mirage and ordered take out. Everything tasted fresh, home made and authentic. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to all of our family and friends. The missing utensils and warm drinks was of course oversight from the employee at the window so I don't think it's that much of a deal but hinders me giving 5 stars none the less.
Please don't change what you guys are doing to make the food taste as amazing...
