Master Taco — Restaurant in Surprise

Best fast food Mexican that ive found since I've gotten here. Very clean inside, food is spot on, and the salsa bar is excellent. Taco tuesday is a regular thing for me now. The carnitas are devine, along with everything else. Really good stuff. Update: 8/29/202...... They now have Cabeza......am honestly the best I've ever had only because I think this is the first time that I've had actual head meat, pretty sure actually. Very rich, and very tasty. Highly recommend, I get it simply in a street taco with onions, cilantro, and queso. Damn good with the mild rojo, and pureed pico.

*update. So sorry to say that the quality has fallen. The Carne asada might as well be any other meat besides beef. I get the price hike both covid, but seems to be taken advantage of here. Has totally changed, used to be my goto. Not anymore . Ripping people off with cheaper protein has been noticed. How can it be asked for such a high price? Got to 'LA Bomba' in El Mirage. Such higher quality. Sorry master taco, terrible is your food now. And super expensive . Quality, zero. Go to taco bell. ....sorry Master Taco, shortcuts will be your demise. The quality has fallen big time. Burritos are now 'burros'. Spend the extra and go to Casa De Pappas by sprouts. ...

Their food is definitely fresh and it's so good. Portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. We will be eating there often! Today, June 26th we had a doctor's appointment at 10:00. We didn't eat breakfast and didn't get out of the doctors office till noon. Needless to say we were starved. We planned on going to Master Taco again but expected it would be busy for lunch. It was pretty busy and expected to have to wait for awhile to eat. The service was amazing and fast. The food was so good and the young lady that took care of us was very sweet and friendly. I love this place and we will be going back again and again. Friday's is senior discount day and we will be taking advantage of that as well. I'm happy this place is doing so well for having only been open for four months. I questioned how well they would do being there location but there are a lot of medical buildings around not to mention they have had a lot of construction workers come in. I hope they continue to do well because I love this place...

Stopped in, with 4 kids under the age of 10, on our way back to Tucson. Young man behind the counter answered my questions with candor, humor, and guile. Not often you see or hear that for the younger generation these days. He totally rolled with the circus we are after a long drive. As others recommended we got an order of rolled potato tacos. I got the #7 combo, Birria style. My husband got the same but Carne Asada to share with my 3 year old. My oldest got the #12, and my 7 year old got a cheese quesadilla. No question, this was some of the most flavorful, well presented, yet simple food we've gotten in AZ. The horchata, a favorite, is made from scratch!! Think sometimes you have to ask if the bad reviews might have had a bad attitude or come on a rare off day for the place. The place was clean, bright, good top 40 music going. If your debating on going in, let this review sway you. Just be prepared to take food home. We are happily stuffed to finish...
