What an awful experience while on vacation. From being laughed at, to my 10 year old being offered tequila. On 2/29 my family, while on vacation, attempted to visit Fuzzy's for what my mother-in-law called their famous "1/2 price burger night". We entered the restaurant to which the host laughed at us when we said we were a party of 5. He said sarcastically, "5?" like it was ridiculous that we wanted a table for 5. His response with a chuckle was "Gonna be awhile, everyone just sat down for bingo". We looked and many of the tables were people not eating, and parties of 2 sat at tables meant for 6. Further, the host said we are not allowed to put 5 people in a booth (not even by grabbing an empty chair and sitting 1 at the end of the table). We told him multiple times that we were willing to wait. He seemed more irritated by that (as in hoping we would just leave), and finally sighed and said "I guess I can put you on a wait list. It could be 25-30 minutes" and we said okay. So he wrote down our name and gave us a call button. He said we could wait outside and sit on the smoke patio. After 20 minutes my wife went in to check on progress, as no one had checked on us, and after no attempts to quickly clear a table here or move other customers to smaller open tables, we asked if we could eat on the patio. The host said he wasn't sure if any waiters/waitresses were working out there. She asked him to please check. We were eventually offered to be served out there, and he brought us full menus. But while waiting for an answer, several smokers took over the patio area (not the restaurant's fault), leaving us to change our mind, as we didn't want to eat our dinner with a side of cigarette smoke. My wife went back inside to check on the large tables that were empty, except for 2-3 people, thinking perhaps the staff would consolidate these customers, as they were only playing bingo and didn't need the large tables for eating. But no one was taking steps to help us. We noticed 2 booths inside came open, so we split up our group and took the two booths. When the waiter came up, he offered all the adults tequila and when my mother-in-law told him we were driving (with children obviously present) he got irritated and said "I got some crappy tequila I need to get rid of. We got Uber and Lyft, or I can take you home at the end of the night". All right in front of children who were there to eat. Then she asked for a diet coke and he said "Well that's disappointing". Then to top it off she asked for waters for the rest of the group (as we don't drink soda). He got visibly mad, then looked at my 10 year old and asked him "Would you want a tequila?". He then turned and asked what I wanted to drink - my reply "water". At this point he was really mad and walked away. At the point we were abandoned as he walked away and did not return. After 5-10 minutes, my wife and mother-in-law noticed our waiter going into the restroom. And my wife observed 5-6 staff members standing around the bar. No one appeared to be attempting to get 4 waters and 1 diet coke ready. And the whole time we were inside, no staff seemed to want to assist or serve us. 10 minutes later we left - still no drinks or attempts at service. This waiter was lucky I was not a witness to him offering my son liquor (as I was in the booth behind them) but my wife and mother-in-law were. Had I heard this, the whole restaurant would have witnessed a scene. Bad service aside and being laughed at, but joking about offering not only a minor liquor, but a child? You've got to be kidding! This crosses a line. (To be fair, if it's a joke, where it's like everyone's laughing, and they are obviously making a joke, is one thing, but he was mad and that type of joke is what is not okay). It was awkward and made everyone uncomfortable. And I've never been to a restaurant/bar where no on steps up to try and help or find a table for their customers. As soon as we walked in, it was as if they wanted us to leave. It wasted 45 minutes of our night, and we had to find somewhere...

(Sometimes seating yourself is good, sometimes bad). We sat at least 4 or 5 minutes while staff personnel whizzed back and forth past us without even a nod or any acknowledgement. Not a great start.... but we are taking into consideration the fact they are super busy. Finally, out of desperation I sort of "accost", not really, but I made it impossible for the waitperson to go past without acknowledging us. He said "someone will be right with you". Another minute or 2 passes and finally, finally someone lays down menus....and takes off without our drink order!! Argh!! We are still trying to be cool...ha, but we are now very parched! Then a third waitperson says can I take your drink order. We both had IPA's which were quite fine. I ordered a basic build a burger with fries, wife had french dip with fries. Both food items were "OK", nothing to rave about. I did detect a great hamburger meat quality, cooked just right. Wifes dip was kinda' leathery and the bun was not what you expect with a french dip. Very soft and bready, definitely not a french roll as most would expect. All in all it was an OK night out. We will probably come back if there is a Seahawk game on, but otherwise, we wont be back anytime soon. The food was unremarkable and the service was slightly poor. I think it comes down to training. When a waitperson passes by a table of folks with nothing on the table, you need to ask "have you been helped" even if it's not your "area". OR, say "I will let your server know you are sitting and waiting", or something like that. When you seat yourself you run the risk of not being acknowledged and you don't get the initial recognition that usually, can, lead to a better experience and faster first contact, and the all important initial drink order. I know, it's a sports bar, "what do you expect?"....I expect a...
Read moreHORRIBLE SERVICE! We honestly don't understand how this place is a 4stars. On Monday Jan 7 at 550pm we sat down, no menus, no service. We sat and waited and waited.. there was literally no one walking the floor. I had to pick up a menus at a table that wasn't cleaned up from previous customers. I didn't see a happy hour menu so I went to the bar and they were ignoring me. There was a young brown haired girl with a black hoody with a fuzzy's shirt and she was walking passed me and I asked her for a happy hour menu and she was rude just saying "Idk ask the bar." All I saw her doing was just walking the entire night doing nothing. Anyway, I waited and asked the male bartender with a blue long sleeve and he's said rudely "happy hour menu... No um your just...." He walked away to talk to the female bartender midsentence talking to me as though I'm not an important customer. Comes back and says "your just gonna have to ask your server" and he walks away. Server? What server? I sat back where I was.. we waited and waited some more. I finally saw a server drop off drinks to someone at our table and she just walks right off. Next time we saw her we literally had to call her over. We asked her about happy hour and she knew nothing just said everything is discounted. Every time we saw her after that we ordered another drink even though we weren't finished with our other one because we barely saw her and didn't want to miss happy hour prices. Their fried mushrooms were yummy though. But their drinks are a rip off! And we didn't know that until we got our receipt. Happy hour only saved us $5 and we ordered over a dozen drinks including for our friend. I've been to many sports bars and this one was a rip off. We tipped the waitress $16 because we are tippers we don't low ball but we will not be returning. ZIPPS sports bar...
