I went to this Texas Roadhouse on July 2 and July 4 for my meal. I have a gluten allergy. I ordered the grilled pork chop and gave the server very specific instructions to wrap it in tin foil, place in a pan and cook it on the grill with no seasonings on the pork chop. I also ordered a baked potato and salad. This is what Texas Roadhouse requested. Both nights the salad had brown lettuce and kitchen people didn't care. Both times they brought me out the pork chop full of seasoning and peppercorn sauce. Both times I sent it back. Both times I asked to speak with a manager and surprisingly none were on site. I asked both managers if they wanted the remake burnt and dried out so bad you couldn't cut it with a knife. Both people who brought out the remakes I asked them if they would want this type of meal and service. Both people never answered. When I asked for it to be made right the first person said, "it won't make a difference this is how we serve it" and the person tonight stated " we can't make anything with special requests. We don't have the time to do that for anyone here. We don't have a gluten friendly restaurant and we only want customers without allergies." I was so offended and upset that I asked to speak to the store manager and I was told they don't have them.
I should not be singled out as a customer when you told me to request it be made this way to prevent cross contamination.
I would give them zero stars if I could. Complaining to corporate gets you no where. I was a long standing customer, but not anymore. It is so sad that no one cares about the customer or the product they serve. Don't ever eat here, the service is horrible and they don't care to...
Read moreI am a disabled veteran. Due to my combat related ptsd and TBI, I am usually accompanied by my Service Dog, who is always in a vest with his service dog accreditation card in a visible pouch on his back.
For those who don't know, a ptsd dog is trained to respond to your physical behavior and the odor of chemicals that your body releases when under stress. My dog is trained to touch me with his nose to get my attention and pull me back to the present. If I do not acknowledge him, his second attempt is a bump with his body, and his third attempt is to jump into my lap and vocalize one bark. When at a restaurant, my dog is trained to stay under the table next to my leg, so climbing into my lap is not an option.
While ordering food with my wife, the bus boys started throwing dishes into the bus pan directly behind me. This crashing noises caused me to have a pted episode. When the above incident occurred, my dog had to resort to the third attempt to get me back to the present. Our waitress stated that she barely noticed it, and none of the other patrons near us were upset by his actions. Unfortunately, the manager felt it was necessary to come to our table and publicly embarrass me by stating that if my dog barked again, he would ask us to take him outside, while also stating that a service dog doesn't bark, insinuating that he was not a real service dog. While ignoring the child screaming at another table for the seventh time that had already caused two other tables to leave publicly complaining about the child.
Due to the managers behavior, my wife and I decided to take our dinner and leave. I will never be returning to...
Read moreI am writing to formally complain about a recent promotional campaign and the highly unprofessional conduct of one of your managers. The campaign involved your representatives providing our hotel with 20 envelopes for distribution. We, in good faith, ensured these were given to our employees to use or distribute to our guests. However, the attempted prize redemption was extremely disappointing. When we, along with our guests, sought clarification from a manager, their behavior was unacceptable. I asked the manager for an explanation of the winning mechanics, including what the specific numbers (e.g., "76") meant and how to confirm major prizes (TVs, AirPods). The manager who approached our table was unprofessional, dismissive, and remarkably rude. They failed to explain the rules of their own promotion and, instead of offering assistance, made the following unacceptable remarks: • They claimed the company had distributed a total of 6,000 envelopes, minimizing our small contribution. • They stated they didn't have to give us these envelopes, but that "someone from Texas came in and passed these out." This was a clear attempt to shirk responsibility and disrespect the effort we made to support their campaign. We put forth the effort to assist your company, and in return, your manager treated us with contempt. Your managerial staff must be both polite and capable of clearly explaining their campaigns. The manager's attitude, their inability to clarify the promotion's rules, and their rude attempt to belittle our involvement are entirely unsatisfactory and reflect extremely poorly on your...
