Let me tell you something. The reason you see bad reviews here us bc of the people that frequent places that charge $7. Entitlement. Today I ordered a mobile order like I do here often. This places is always hopin and I know if I want to get in and out you order ahead and park at the back of the parking lot. Today no different than the 100s of times I visited here. But I get inside and there are tons of people. I think..awesome glad to see people getting out again. I go up to the mobile pick up and see my sandwich but not my drink. No worries I go to step back and wait...here is where the difference in customer service happened. The people(sorry didn't see her name) setting up the orders says hello - what your name? Then she tells me that there was a 15 drink mobile order and they are running a few mins behind... she looks so stressed as everyone is jittery and staring at her. She continues to greet everyone update them and then update people when they are 1-2 drinks away from people ready. Me still no biggie waiting bc I planned my time out to be able to stop and not rush... if you're running behind you shouldn't have stopped for coffee that's not Starbucks fault and if you frequent this local you know it is always busy. A out 5 mins go by and she updates me again... 8 mins and she calls me up and gives me a gift card for waiting?! Wow above and beyond! I say no problem and wait some more. About 3 mins later my drink was ready. The moral of the story is communication! They staff on duty 2/9 @ 8am-9am where all working so hard and all had a positive outlook. I wish I could tell them all personally that keep it up and don't sweat the entitlement that people seems to have about their over priced(very delicious) coffee. And people be nice to people- you would why you get bad strive, bc you're being an...
Read moreI ordered at the drive-thru, using my usual tone of voice, which is fairly masculine (that is, a low pitch) and largely inoffensive. For some reason, the male barrista was insulted and, I suspect, gave me a shoddy Pecan latte in retaliation. The cup was 1/4 empty as well as unstirred. Needless to say, I was livid, not only at having paid $5 for a cup of coffee (really!?) but also at getting a deliberately faulty drink. That was my first experience.
I thought it was a one-off incident and opted to give this location another try, maybe that vindictive barista wouldn't be there, I surmised. I spoke more softly at the drive-thru this time and, when I asked for a cookie dough cake pop, the SAME barista from last time slyly said they were out of cake pops. I thought how odd and said, "That must be a hot item. Because it's been a recurring thing whenever I come here: I'm always told that you're out of cake pops." That barista fumbled in his intial response and said, "Oh, wait a second I just glanced at the front counter and they're here. What kind of pop did you want, and how many?" I said, "Wow, so they magically appeared?!" Then a female barista interjected on his behalf through the intercom, saying with a snarl, "Yes, I just baked some."
Lucky coincidence? I don't think so. Not when these things happen repeatedly with the same barista. I have a bachelor's in finance. First rule: the customer is always right. The order is a simple transaction. I give you money and you truthfully satisfy the order. Everyone leaves happy. I, however, have left this...
Read moreThis location is the worst...super duper slow, employees act like they could care less. We are HUGE Starbucks fans and usually frequent Starbucks at least 4 to 5 times a week. I always have problems with this location. Well, today I went through the drive-through and ordered about $10 worth of items and had my little Shitzu with me in the front and asked for a puppuccino Well the girl in the drive-through told me that she cannot give it to me at the window but I would have to drive back around and go through the drive-through and order it. The craziest thing I have ever heard as every other Starbucks hands it to me through the window when requested. So I had to drive back around and wait in line to request it only to find out that they are charging for it. When I inquired why it’s not free they stated that corporate was really cracking down on them to make sure that they charged it and every other Starbucks should be charging for them and not handing them out for free. I immediately called corporate to see if that was the case, they were just as surprised to find out that they were charging and stated that they should not be and that they should be given as a free item in a way to say thank you for being a patron. Needless to say I will NOT be coming back to this location but stick to my friendly Starbucks off PIB instead who gives me my puppuccinos for free and always thanks me for my...
