You’ve got to be kidding me with these 5 star reviews. Don’t be fooled by them. What a joke. Customers who give them 4 or 5 stars don’t know what they’re talking about they don’t know what REAL food tastes like because all the restaurants around here are awful. As a Philly native who’s had really good and authentic Indian foods from different cities, this place doesn’t even make the cut. My husband ordered take-out for us because I was in too much pain to cook. He ordered lamb tikka masala for me, lamb vindaloo for himself, 2x garlic naan, and 2 mango lassi’s. When he walked in, he said the place was empty with a sign that said they were closed. He said something looked sketchy inside and there were two teenagers who were at the front counter. They gave him one small plastic bag that contained both the hot foods and the mango lassi’s. When he brought it home, I was surprised by how poorly they packaged the food. I worked at many restaurants and packaging take-out orders is what I took pride in because I did it well. Hot and cold should be separated. They wrapped the drinks in Saran Wrap and it was still spilling/dripping all over inside. They were in small flimsy plastic cups. The lamb tikka masala looked unappealing. You could see the cheese curdles were not blended well. The “lamb” was tough and hard. Looked like it was old and overcooked because I could barely chew it and it was charred black! The curry itself was spicy, which shouldn’t be. He told the lady over the phone that it’s for his pregnant wife and the lady said she’ll make it less spicy, but it was spicy! The garlic naan was okay, but a bit charred. My husband reached for his mango lassi and the flimsy cup slipped off his hand and fell. The drink spilled all over the rug. He was so angry. Overall, the food is terrible and way overpriced. The mango lassi didn’t taste anything like a mango lassi. It was sour and had no taste of mango. What a shame. I was really hoping this would be good because I love Indian food and the positive reviews made it sound promising, but boy was I bamboozled! Again, if you’re reading this, don’t believe those reviews. The food is not worth it. I seriously want our money back. It was a waste of $51. It’s such a risk to eat out because the food taste just doesn’t match the price. There’s no value. And you just spent your hard earned money on it. Lesson learned.

This is a moderately new indian/nepali restaurant place near Middletown and Harrisburg PA. If you are in search for authenticity and tasty Indian/Nepali food this is the best place to go for in the area (maybe bias opinion in the whole USA :D). Amazing dishes I tried and think is the best : Vegetarian Momo, Sekuwa, Veg and Mutton Thalis, Paneer Chilly, Chicken Momo Chilly, Sukuti, Jhol Momo. This place is one of the few places with such good vegeterian food taste and with amazingly tasty thali(a full course nepali meal) sets under $18. Apart from amazing food cooked by very experienced chef in both nepali and indian cuisines. This place entails amazing atmosphere, services with so friendly and smiling servers, with their beautiful greetings and talks. This place is nicely decorated, and is highly photogenic. Their serving style / presentation is so authentic you will feel like you are in Nepal. Their also is a separate lounge area designed for parties, karaoke sessions with friend groups that is accessibe most of the time on demand, its really great to hangout in here with all the authentic flavor, tastes and style.

Indian curry lounge owners take pride in their cooking and service they provide to the customers and it’s evident when the owner is the head chef and also takes time to come and interact with their customer to make sure the food was to their liking. They specialize in Indo Chinese and Nepali food on top of regular Indian dishes which makes this place stand out compared to others Indian or Nepali restaurants in the area. The veg and chicken momos are both delicious. If you like heat, don’t hesitate to ask for their spicy sauce but be careful as it is truly spicy. The hot and sour soup, gobi Manchurian, sizzlers, and masala chai are great choices for a cold winter evening. The fried rice is hands down one of the best in the central Pennsylvania area. The goat biryani was very good as well. They always have specials outside of their regular menu so please make sure to ask the chef for his recommendations on it and be ready for a delicious surprise. They also have a separate area for Karaoke in case you are looking for something fun to do with your group.

I picked this place as it was half way for me (coming from Lewistown PA) to meet my son, daughter in law and grand daughters (coming from Frederick MD) for my birthday lunch. I love Indian cuisine. From the outside I wasn’t sure I picked a good place to eat. Looks very uninviting. Once you go in it opens to a fairly nice place. The luncheon buffet was to start at 11:30 so we arrived about 11:40. Had to wait for the food to come out to the buffet a bit at a time. Couldn’t read the writing on the buffet food cards so some dishes we weren’t sure what we were eating. The food was good but not great. Especially the kheer (sweet rice) which I took one bit of and pushed it aside. Horrible!!! Ladies room was filthy.

The worst part of this was the rude and sexual comments made by a man (looked to be in his 40,s) who worked there towards my daughter in law and one of my grand daughters (16). It was said to another man whom I’m not sure if he worked there or not. They were wearing sweat pants and hooded sweat shirts. We were not suppose to hear what he said but we did. I wanted to throw my plate of food at him. This was very unnecessary behavior from this person. I will never go there again. So uncalled for. Whoever this person is should be very ashamed of himself. A total sleaze ball.

I see your response. If this man was a maintenance man why was he filling water glasses...

The standards of professionalism exhibited by this establishment are markedly deficient. During my initial order, I experienced an excessive wait time of two hours for delivery. Upon the arrival of the delivery person, they remained seated in their vehicle conversing for a duration of at least ten minutes. When I inquired about the prolonged delay and the reason for their prolonged phone conversation, the individual indicated that they were speaking with a sibling and offered no apology for the inconvenience.

On my subsequent attempt to place a pickup order, I was informed that their system was turned OFF and that they were unaware that an order had been made. I placed my order at 6:30 PM for a designated pickup time of 7:15 PM; however, my food was not prepared until 8:30 PM. The process of ordering online proved to be exceedingly cumbersome, akin to extracting a tooth, and attempts to reach them by phone were hindered by a consistent unavailability of service. Furthermore, the quality of the food was notably poor, characterized by excessive dryness, and was the least satisfactory experience I have encountered from this restaurant. Consequently, I have resolved to refrain from placing any future orders with this establishment....
