El Sol Express — Restaurant in Swatara Township

Saw them on clipp formally local flavor and decided to give it a try. Finally went today and am so glad I did. I got there about 5:20 and it was dead inside but smelled good, the woman that took my order was very kind and greeted me promptly and the decor was cute and the restaurant clean. I ordered the guacamole appetizer, a few sides of rice and the steak fajita burrito. When I got home I was really surprised at how good the food looked and the portions. The guac was gorgeous and so delicious and fresh with the perfect amount of lime. The chips were nice and warm and crisp. They also have a cup of salsa which was delicious. The rice was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The steak fajita burrito was huge and delicious. They also had a salsa and toppings bar that was super clean and packed with a variety of delicious salsas. The toasted jalapeno is spicy with a wonderful flavor! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be going back. The food is amazing. Don't let the lack of cars in the lot detour you, the food is out of this world ! And the woman that helped was very kind and pleasant....

Food was not good. Couldn’t even eat it. Received something that did not look or taste like authentic Mexican meal. Tasted like something instant from a supermarket box. When asked for assistance to remedy the issue, the manager didn’t even bother to return my call, and lied about receiving the message. And even claimed there was no manager there. Then gave me a hard time and kept arguing and disrespectfully making accusations and remarks. He would not be quiet, as to deliberately provoke a quarrel, kept shooting off his mouth while I stood silently waiting for a refund. Such Lack of respect for the customer, and lack of professionalism in handling customer services. The food I ordered did not taste like authentic Mexican food. Looked and tasted instant out of a can / box / bottle! Bland. I've tried coming multiple times to get lunch from here during the work week. Despite their hours being listed as opening at 11 AM, there have been many of those times where it was not open by noon, sometimes with a note on the door saying they would open later. People from my office went there today with me. It was open this time, but the line was about six people in front of us. It took us 15 minutes to get to put in our order. I asked for mine to go stating that we would have to leave soon to get back to work. I was informed that to-go orders were put on the bottom of the pile and would take longer. We had to cancel our orders because we would not make it back to work in time. We were advised to put our order in ahead next time and just pick it up rather than order it there. I've been here in the evening once, and while it took awhile to get my order, the food was good. It would be nice if it was a more reliable location to eat lunch...
