Grandpops Army Navy — Local services in Swedesboro

I don't normally write reviews, but I have to here. This store is great. I'm not American, but I love the country and I'm interested in the military myself and love walking through army stores like this. I was on vacation on the East Coast and was looking for hats and stopped by the store spontaneously. When I went in I was greeted very warmly and the owner immediately asked me what I needed. I looked around a bit and then found the right one. The owner and I then had a very nice chat and he gave me pins and stickers, which I will now give away at home to advertise. I'll be sure to pop in when I'm on the corner and order things online too! This store is great! Very customer-oriented, it has everything you can dream of and well-maintained. It was a very great experience and I can highly recommend this store! I appreciate it!!...

I went here the other day to get a paintball co2 canister refilled, I walked in to a woman holding a cell phone to her ear, yelling at a man in the store who I presume also worked there. I stood less than 3 feet away from her for an entire minute before my presence was ever acknowledged. Finally she points to the canister, still with her cell phone to her ear, and says “we don’t fill those anymore” oh ok hello to you to... at which point I ask “do you know anyone who does?” The woman, clearly annoyed with me and my question, says “no clue” and that concludes my first and last ever visit to grandpops army navy. People complain about local businesses going under to amazon and other online services but this is exactly why I buy everything that I can on the internet, NO HUMAN...

I would give negative stars if possible. Went there with my dad today and had the worst interaction possible with the man running the counter. Made 0 eye contact with us and was disrespectful/unprofessional. That dude has no respect for anyone, only had nasty things to say about military/NJ, which is ironic considering his entire store lives and breathes by those serving. As if he would know anything about the military, as he never served, plus didn't care to look at what I wanted to sell. Waste of a 30 minute drive. Mind boggling how this place has 4.5...
