My cocktail bird died the second day.
Im so sad !!! This lady sold me a sick bird the poor bird at least is resting in peace the beautiful baby :(
So Today May 1st in the afternoon I went back to the pet store to bring my baby cocktail bird I bought 2 days ago to ask why is the baby sleeping so much and the breathing is weird and it doesn’t talk or nothing and the blond lady working there check the bird out and just said “don’t worry is a baby. Then I point out the bird breathing and she’s like wow I’m concern about her breathing I’m sorry about the bird breathing bring the bird back tomorrow if she keeps breathing like that. I was like what’s the point of beinging her back tomorrow? Just check her now, so she gave her some type of vitamin drops and then told me she should feel better. I left the store and quickly call 6 vets to go, but they were all close, so I schedule an appointment for tomorrow at a vet, so they can tell me what’s wrong, but the bird died tonight. I’m so sad tomorrow I’m going to speak to this lady and tell her the horrible news, but I just hate that I’m not the first person that happens too for that they should let all the birds free and let them live in there nature habitat if they’re going to died in that store. They should stop selling animals.
Today is May 1st of 2019 the day my bird died. I bought a baby cocktail 1 month old at this store 2 days ago! While I was buying the birdie there was a lady who came in with a baby cocktail about 3 weeks old and screaming for help because the bird wouldn’t wake up. The Old blond lady working there try to help her out, but there was little for her to do the birdie died and the person bought the bird 2 days ago too. At that moment I should’ve saw that as a sign, but I refuse to think negative and still buy the bird because the bird was so lovable, but little did I know the lady sold me a sick bird. The owner tent to separate the baby birds from the parents and put them in a...
Read moreNever have I ever been so disappointed. This place is the worst place to trim your birds wings. I bought a 8 month old love bird from this place around February and they asked if I wanted to trim the birds wings a bit, I was a bit worried because the last time I took my other bird to trim the wings it never grew back the same, but they said with time it would.. it’s been over a year and it has not. Anyways, regarding this poor 8 month old love bird, I decided to trim the wings, and it’s been 5 months and the poor birds wings have not grown, he cannot even glide. The lady that cut them is the wife of the owner. She has messed up two of my birds wings. It’s so disappointing, because I only wanted a trim, I didn’t want to destroy the poor birds wings. The bird might not ever be able to fly. So my advise to anyone is to stay away from this pet shop, they will NOT handle your bird with the proper care, they will just grab scissors and cut all of the important feathers. When someone trims a birds wings it’s supposed...
Read moreI used to be a loyal customer here for years, the owner moved to Orlando and new owners took over. The previous owner used to charge me $5 for grooming services for my bird and was amazing at it, quick and efficient. He also went out of his way to find a specific baby bird I was looking for as a gift to my mother in law, excellent service. The new owners are not quite as good, they charge $10 now on top of having me assist in the process and it now takes much longer for grooming services. By the end my bird is tired from fighting us. I started grooming him myself to avoid stressing him and I no longer go there. It's a shame. Hopefully it will get...
