I’ve visited Dairy Queen locations for years, but this particular franchise redefined what it means to be treated with outright disrespect. From the moment I walked in, the staff’s unwelcoming demeanor set the tone—something I’ve unfortunately experienced during past visits too, with cold, borderline rude interactions. However, the real shock came this time when I, politely asked for a cup of water. Let me be clear: I wasn’t loitering or asking for freebies. I’d spent money at their establishment, yet the manager acted as though my simple request was an outrageous imposition.
Instead of basic courtesy, I was met with eye rolls, dismissive sighs, and a condescending tone from management. Their behavior was both unprofessional and needlessly hostile. When i was hoping for a shred of decency, the manager doubled down, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. Even in prior visits, the vibe here has always been frosty, but this crossed the line into blatant disrespect.
It’s baffling that a brand known for “Happy Treats” tolerates such toxic management. This wasn’t just poor service; it was a pattern of contempt for patrons. Save your time and money—this location clearly doesn’t value either. Until they overhaul their management’s attitude, steer clear unless you enjoy being treated like a nuisance for daring to ask for the bare minimum after supporting their business.
Advice to Management: Train yourself in basic customer service. A smile costs nothing, and neither does water—especially when someone has already paid for your overpriced products. Repeat customers won’t exist if you treat...
Read moreMy bf and I recently went to get a large Butter Finger Blizzard and it wasn’t as good as usual because the owner made it. When my bf came out and showed me what it looked like, it was pathetic on the Butter Finger toppings. He said as he walked up, the owner was sitting by the door and hurriedly walked over to make the Blizzard, even though the other employees were in there ready to do it. When the other employees make it, we’ve always had enough of our chosen Blizzard toppings in whatever we get there, but this time it was terrible. He basically put CRUMBS into our Blizzard! There were only 3 chunks of Butter Finger and all soft serve. It couldn’t even be called a Blizzard! Extremely frustrating and a waste of money. We felt like we got ripped off. I tried stirring it more we got home as it melted, but the toppings where still crumbs! If this is what’s going to happen every time we go, we...
Read moreThis Dairy Queen is inaccessible if you use a power wheelchair. There is no cut in the curb, and benches and poles block the sidewalk. The sidewalk by it is also inaccessible, as it stops by the light, so you either have to drive or walk through grass to access this store. It was free cone day, and my sibling wanted a cone but couldn’t get in the building. If they want something, I have to go pick it up for them. So I went in, and asked for a cone for myself and one for my disabled sibling, explaining that they couldn’t get in the building. I was told, in a very curt way, “one per person” and “there are signs.” I tried explaining that she couldn’t get in the building, nothing. It was extremely offputting. I would have even accepted a response or “I’m sorry, but that’s the policy” but I didn’t even get that courtesy. I gave my cone...
