My fiancé and I came to Buffalo Wild Wings in Harpers Station today (Friday, September 22, 2023).
We walked in at 5:43 pm and were greeted by a person at the hostess stand. She looked at me, glared, and then proceeded to ask me how many people were in our party with an attitude. I responded extremely politely and asked if she had a booth available to which she responded no. I asked her if we could have a low-top table and she gave me an attitude and said: âokay.â She walked away and my fiancĂ© and I were confused but followed after her. I am not exaggerating, but she proceeded to throw our two menus on the table and walked away without saying a word BEFORE we got to the table.
My fiancé and I are pretty understanding people. My parents own and operate a restaurant and I have learned that although someone has a bad day, they should never take it out on a customer.
We were seated at around 5:48 pm and looked at our menus to figure out what we wanted to eat. We watched our server walk past us about 5-6 times and she did not greet us. Finally, at 6:05 pm, a food runner noticed that we had been sitting without drinks for a long time and asked us what we wanted to drink.
I watch her go and get our drinks and she tells our server that we had been waiting. She comes over and asks: âso what do you want to eat?â in the worst attitude. After a while my fiancĂ© and I were confused because I ordered a side of mac and cheese and french fries and my fiancĂ© ordered 6 wings and a side of french fries. We did not have a complicated order.
We got our food in a timely manner, and the food was right. Our server brought me back a sprite and I said: âthank youâ to which I got no response or acknowledgement.
Again, I get that everyone has bad days, but it should not be taken out on people who have done nothing but provide them business.
If it helps, we were sitting at the four seat table diagonal from the hostess stand and left at 6:40 pm. As we were walking out, I told the lady at the hostess stand and told her to have a good night. I got no response, and she didnât even look at me.

   Read moreI ordered dinner from this bdubs for my wife and I through the BDubs website. I used my cell phone to place a delivery order but didnât use the app, I used the web browser on my phone. After placing the order it just kept loading and loading and loading... I didnât press back or try to refresh. It finally went through after waiting a few minutes. After placing the order I received an email and text giving me an estimation for when my delivery order would arrive. Once the order arrived I opened it up to find the order was completely wrong so I called and spoke with the manager and he explained to me that for whatever reason two orders were placed with my card about 2 mins apart. I explained that I did not do this and did not place two orders and explained how long the site was loading when I placed my order and how the order that arrived was completely wrong even though the receipt I received showed the right order. I was told to come up to the store and I could just pick up the second order that was placed. The manager read it off and confirmed it was correct. I came up to the store only to find out that another employee that was unaware of the situation gave my order to the door dasher and that it would be arriving at my house in a few mins.. it was a headache but the reason Iâm giving this a 5 star review is because of how the issue was handled. This is a system issue on the backend not a store or employee issue.. bdubs needs to make sure other orders arenât being placed twice like mine wasâŠthatâs a backend system error. I DID NOT press back or refresh. I just sat there and waited for it to load. I really wanted to leave this review to let you guys know how great the manager was with helping me resolve my issue. He was quick, empathetic and helpful and ended up crediting my order and fixing my issue. This happened around 8pm on 10/15 I didnât catch the managers name but if bdubs ends up reading this review hopefully they show some appreciation to this manager⊠and then look into why their website is broken and not processing...
   Read moreMy group went here to celebrate graduating nursing school this week. We obviously had rounds of shots. The food was great and so were the servers! None of us were highly intoxicated, but we all noticed our shots of liquor were all water tasting. I ordered another round so I could watch them pour it, and long and behold I literally watched the bartender spray WATER into all of my shots! I had a DD, I wasn't belligerent, I was completely coherent and was also eating food and drinking sprite. I simply asked the server to please give me a discount on those last shots and the server even agreed that the bartender did in fact cheat us on shots and add water. Then the manager comes out, refuses to comp any of us and got quite aggressive and rude and kept saying "he's been a great employee for 20 years". Okay.... that's wonderful. Give him a golden sticker, I don't care. He refused to make the situation right.
He said he was checking cameras and if in fact he did give us water for shots, then he would refu d. No call or update since then.
I used to work in the service industry, I always make sure to be the most polite and less complicated guest, but I will bark up every tree out of PRINCIPLE.
Avoid this place if you're planning on having drinks with friends.
UPDATE (April 4th) filed a complaint with corporate the day of this review, the store nor corporate ever got back to...
