Update: We went here again for dinner on Sunday, 10/6, at 6p. Only one person working from what we could see, but he was very efficient. We had a Gyro ($10.99), Small Gyro Greek Salad ($7.99), Slushie Lemonade ($3.99), and a canned soft drink ($1.50) for a total of $26.38 with tax before tip.
The Gyro had a generous portion of freshly shaved gyro meat on a grilled pita with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and Tzatziki sauce and was very good. The Gyro salad had a generous portion of gyro meat, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, banana peppers, black olives, oil and vinegar Greek Dressing, and Tzatziki sauce and was excellent. The Slushie Lemonade was very tart on the bottom and not much flavor on the top, so it needed to be mixed better. It also had a squeezed lemon half in the bottom of the cup and was served with an orange slice on top.
Original Review: We went here for the first time on Tuesday, 7/31, around 5:30pm. We had a Cheeseburger and Gyro Philly - each comes with fries. We had our food to dine in and it was prepared fresh in 10 minutes and served very hot.
They have two small tables for 4, one small table for 2, and a counter along the front window with 3 or 4 chairs. There are also 2 or 3 chairs to use while waiting on a carryout order.
My wife said her Cheeseburger, which she ordered with tomato only, was very good and was well seasoned with seasoned salt. My Gyro Philly was made just like a Philly Steak except it had gyro meat (shaved from a vertical rotisserie) and was served on a grilled pita. The Gyro Philly was good, but next time I will either get a normal Gyro or a normal Philly Steak, since the Philly ingredients overwhelmed the flavor of the gyro meat. The fries were coated with something to make them crispy and seasoned with seasoned salt. I personally am not much for fries, but somehow they were all gone by the time we were finished. My wife also had a cannoli, which she said was very good.
We’ll be back again to try...
Read moreFirst time trying this place and I had a horrible experience. I ordered via Doordash and none of the items that we ordered were made the way it is described on the menu. The Gyro Philly didn’t have any nacho cheese on it and the meat was dry. The Gyro Quesadilla was super dry, and there were no onions, no bell peppers, no potatoes or sauce on it. Just dry gyro meat and a little bit of cheese. The tortilla was also burnt. The chicken shawarma didn’t have any lettuce, tomatoes, onions or garlic sauce on it. It’s just a tortilla and chicken with a couple of little slices of pickles. The 6 Pieces Mozzarella Cheese Sticks did not come with any marinara sauce and there was no BBQ sauce or any sauce for the Onion Rings. All they had was ketchup in the bag, and no fries were even ordered. The only thing that tasted ok is the Hummus. This is really crazy because I paid $68 for this food, and everything is dry, nasty, and not made correctly. I will absolutely not be ordering...
