I'm not writing this review to expound upon the food quality at Domino's. They are a huge international chain and most of their food tastes exactly the same no matter where you order it from. The reason I am writing this review is because of my recent customer service experience with the Domino's store number 7103 located on 84th and Pacific Avenue in Tacoma WA. I literally live 24 blocks from their store so to save me the delivery charge, I made an online order for carryout. It was a simple order. 2 pizzas and 1 order of wings. Now maybe it's my fault because I didn't double check them while I was in store but we've ordered delivery from them many times with no issue and so my trust was blind. I got home and cracked a beer and had a couple slices while my wife whom the wings were for finished up her meal prep for the week. I was already a couple beers in when she informed me that instead of the wings I ordered, we had received bread twists. Now I've seen the commercials about their carryout insurance policies and how even if it's my fault and something goes wrong, they'll fix it for free. I must've missed some disclaimer because when I called the store to explain what had happened, not only did I get an earful of excuses as to why this happened. When I asked if they'd deliver it now since I had been drinking, I was told that I'd have to now pay the delivery fee. I honestly have a huge issue with the customer service policies of most businesses nowadays. There was a time where if a business made a mistake, they just fixed it! They didn't make excuses, they didn't try to justify it and they damn sure didn't charge their customers for it! Call me old fashioned but in my opinion, if you want to retain repeat business, you eat the costs of fixing your mistakes. I opted to have my wife's wings delivered and the cost for driving 8 wings 24 blocks was $6.60!!! Then I gave the driver a tip so I didn't feel guilty. I absolutely hate that they charge a delivery fee in the first place because as a professional delivery driver who's worked at many different pizza joints, none of that money goes to the driver who usually does not have the proper commercial insurance policy. Who pays his own car insurance and for the gas he uses and deals with any maintenance as well as wear and tear on his vehicle out of his own pocket. So where does that delivery fee go? Read moreThe worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my ENTIRE life and I've had some pretty bad experiences....I've also had great customer service experience and so that is how I know that this was by far the worst very rude very bad bad service. I ordered our pizza online thru the app . Everything that was not pizza was correct ....the pizza was a deluxe w garlic parmeson sauce instead of red sauce but everything else was same for deluxe. When we got it my kids grabbed a piece and b Then I did and I realized it was plain cheese pizza no toppings we paid full price for a deluxe topping pizza and it came with zero toppings. That is at least a few dollars difference in price. So I called And was routed to the actual location and waited on hold got disconnected. Called again chose check order status and the store is closed recording came on. Called again chose make order option got routed again to location a d the man that answered was VERY VERY RUDE NOT AT ALL ACOMMODATING TALKED LOUDER AND OVER ME WHILE I WAS SPEAKING AND HAD NOTHING TO SAY IN REGARDS TO THE FACT THAT I WAS GIVEN COMPLETED WRONG PIZZA PAID MORE FOR DELUXE GOT PLAIN CHESSE . I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE EVER AGIN AND I PLAN TO CONTACT AN ABOVE REPRESENTATIVE ABOUT THIS. I LIVE BEHIND THE STORE IN APTS AND HAVE BEEN CUT OFF ON THE ROAD BY THEIR DELIVERY DRIVERS FLIPPED OFF PASSED AND HONKED AT FOR GOIN G 40.IN A 35 WHEN THEY APPARENTLY NEEDED TO BE WRECKLESS AND RUDE. Read moreI AM SHOCKED & APPALLED BEYOND WORDS BY the way I was treated tonight 9/27/22 by JOSEPH "the manager" & THE WAY HE HANDLED MY CALL TO THE STORE THIS EVENING AND I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED SO BADLY BY A MANAGER AT ANY ESTABLISHMENT!!! BUT I WILL SAY THIS NOW.... Joseph was unbelievably rude to me on the phone when calling in about the problem with my order, which was there was Bacon throughout my cheesy bread when I called & specified my MEAT ALLERGY to a yound woman on the phone right after my oline order, & my cheesy bread did not even come with meat only cheese. He told me if I have a meat allegy I shouldn't be ordering food from them "Dominoes" & he wasn't going to do anything for me, he wasn't going to replace it either. I wanted to bring my order back & get a refund, so I asked for a refund & Joseph told me NO, He was NOT GIVING ME A REFUND! He told me to call 1800Dominoes & tell them about it. I have the whole conversation recorded on audio to share with Management!!!! I order from Dominoes often as it is (or was) my/my family's/my friends favorite pizza place to go to... after this, NOT ANYMORE!!!! I will be telling all my family & friends about my experience tonight with this particular Dominoes and The Manager named Joseph as well as calling to complain with corporate in the morning! I know this store is located in an area where the employees may have to deal with a lot of terrible things from people in the neighborhood HOWEVER MY WIFE & I WERE VERY NICE UPON WALKING IN & GETTING OUR ORDER TO CALLING IN TRYING TO SPEAK TO MANAGEMENT....
