We’re reviewing Happy Asian Food based on the Cambodian dishes we ordered (not the Chinese food).
We had mekathung, samlaw machu krueng, and loc lak — all were flavorful, comforting, and authentic. It tasted like home cooking, and the portions were generous for the price, which we really appreciated.
Service was decent, and we truly appreciated how kind and welcoming the staff were. It’s a small team, and you can tell they’re working hard to get everything out as quickly as possible. We didn’t mind the wait — it was worth it.
We were on vacation and found this place on Google. I just wish it had been closer to our Airbnb (we were staying near Portland), because we definitely would’ve come back to try more!

The orange chicken was way too overcooked to the point that it was too hard to chew, I had to spit it out, and the black pepper chicken was fatty, had to spit that out as well. It’s also 43 degrees outside and the front door was propped open, leaving it freezing. There was also someone letting their dog eat their food and drink out of...
