Starbucks — Restaurant in Tacoma

I am very disappointed in today’s service. I ordered a Venti Iced Quad espresso, per usual. At times I can be soft spoken. I start off with Venti in the order. However a grande was made. No big deal. However, it is very disrespectful to talk poorly about your customers in front of them at the window. “She did say grande” with an attitude, another girl also affirming yeah she most definitely did. Regardless of the fact, they remade my drink. The passive comments and shift in customer service is distasteful and poor reflection of the work culture at the store. The gentleman at the window was very kind and apologetic for the situation at hand. I had asked him if they usually talk about their customers in front of them, he was very kind and compassionate and embarrassed for the interaction. Miss Ally, I apologize is I said “grande” but please take more pride in your line of work. People make mistakes and if you make a new drink there really is no harm or foul but that interaction I will remember and this is why people prefer to go to smaller coffee shops with more humble and upbeat feel. Stopped by the Starbucks on S 72nd St in Tacoma, and it’s definitely one of the busier locations I’ve seen. Getting into the parking lot can be tricky as it’s only accessible from one direction, and using the intersection is pretty much required. The drive-thru cuts right through the lot, which adds to the traffic and makes parking feel a bit chaotic during peak times. That said, the interior is surprisingly spacious and clean, with a nice setup and a small patio area that’s perfect when the weather’s good. Bathrooms are available, but you’ll need a code to access them. It’s nice that they have that extra layer of security, though it’s a bit inconvenient if you’re in a rush. The employees seemed efficient but not particularly warm. It is probably because they’re constantly slammed with orders. Still, my drink came out right and relatively quickly considering how busy it was. This isn’t the Starbucks you come to for a quiet, slow morning, but it works if you’re passing through and know what to expect.

Oh my gosh I just love this place the parking is okay I guess this place can get packed at times although the staff here are very on top of things and get customers in and out with satisfied drinks and meals of their choice and they're not afraid to make a detailed drink or even a mistake they're willing to fix anyting and the staff are lovely they tried to remember your daily drinks if your regular or they see your face every once in awhile it's kind of cool because I go in there and they hear my voice and they remember what I order or what I like and I think that's pretty neat the Stafford just awesome and they have free Wi-Fi restrooms everybody seems to love this place they have seats they have love sofas they have plug-ins for your laptops and chargers and everything else that she would like to charge or play or bring in there's never a rush it's not a dine-and-dash place but also could be if you would like...
