The worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant, and that's saying a lot. I ordered via the website, gave it about 10 minutes, then headed to the restaurant. I was told upon arrival they could not find my order so I showed them my email receipt. The staff seemed very confused but started to make my order. I was then asked to pay for my order. I showed them the receipt, again, and said I had already paid online, and the receipt showed it was paid for. The girl stared at the receipt for about 30 seconds, then said she had to get a manager because "they had no record of my payment". So the manager comes out and looks at my receipt and just says "Weird, yeah you don't have to pay for this". Great. So I'm given my food and I ask for the 2 drinks that I ordered. I was given yet another attitude by the young girl who was helping me. She sighs, twirls around, and roughly sets the 2 cups on the counter. At this point I am thinking I better check my order to make sure it's right. Both mashed potato cups were missing so I ask the girl if I can get my 2 sides. She makes me show her the receipt AGAIN and says she didn't see those sides when I originally showed her the receipt. She is visibly annoyed at this point. So once she sees I did in fact have those sides on my order, and I was not trying to steal 2 cups of mashed potatoes, she gives me my sides. Needless to say I will not be back. I have 30 minutes for a lunch break and have never tried Popeyes before so I thought, why not. This ordeal took up my whole lunch break. One of the main reasons I ordered online and waited 10 minutes to drive to the store was so I could ensure my order would be done, and it would be a quick pick up. Not only is the staff unprofessional, disorganized, and rude, the food was disgusting. My chicken tasted like it had been in an oven for 6 hours and the mashed potatoes were cold. They are so rude, clueless and unprofessional here. We went through the drive thru, and the guy taking our order didnt even know what on the menu was available. We tried to order chicken strips...they were out. Chicken nuggets....yes then no we are out. Chicken sandwich....no they are out. Finally, he explained what they actually did have and there wasnt a lot left. He was obviously high on something. We asked for two mashed potatoes and they forgot to put it into our bag. I called them and spoke to Lua. She said come through to pick them up. We had to drive back where an unprofessional employee was encountered....she didnt want to help me and was giving me an attitude. She also appeared high on something as she was spaced out and non responsive at first. I waved the receipt telling her that they forgot our mashed potatoes. They gave me a hard time because I told them we had two meals and two mashed potatoes!!! They thought giving one large would suffice. I said we didnt ask for large, we wanted the regular size that comes in the meal.
During the hesitation the unprofessional employee was mocking me by waving her hands several times because I did that when she didnt open the door. These people are so rude, incompetent, don't listen, and are the bottom of the barrel humans. Close this Popeyes down and put it in a good area where you can find competent, quality employees!!!

Read moreThis was the worst experience we have ever had at any restaurant. The cashier was not paying attention while taking our order and was making a mistake that I actually caught. When the order was ready we checked and found that it was missing a large fries and two biscuits. The cashier also had put that we ordered "mild" when we clearly said "spicy." So we went to back to talk to the manager and she loudly asked, "What did we do wrong?" Then she made it seem like it was our fault. She took the mild chicken and aggressively threw it in the garbage. She asked to see our receipt as if we were lying about the amount of chicken we were supposed to get. Instead of any apologies, the manager only said that she packed it up herself. All of this took over 40 minutes. So we went back to our hotel room (about 10 minutes away) and discovered that the chicken (which was now very unfresh) that we had long awaited for was in fact still "mild." I do not know if the manager did this out of spite but I really do not know how you could repeat the same exact mistake that was just complained about. We also discovered that our mashed potatoes were packed up so poorly that the bottom came off and was leaking into the bag. Popeye's makes very good food but it is sad to see the type of people they hire that provide the poorest customer service. I will never be going back to eat here at this location ever again and strongly advise people to be very careful when getting food from this restaurant. Always...
