Laboba — Restaurant in Tacoma

They have alternative milks, but cannot make a standard milk tea with it because their milk teas are pre-mixed. I asked what options on their menu were dairy free and they said the blended ones and the fruit ones. The cashier told me the blended ones can be made with dairy free milk but also have condensed milk in them … which is not dairy free. So just be aware if you want something without dairy that their fruit teas are the only thing available.

I did end up getting a fruit tea, but hated that the ice was crushed and the same size as the boba. Each drink was a mouthful of ice and boba which was not...

I had been craving a boba and was so excited to try this place! My drink was amazing. They use quality cups as well. The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. They have so many fun flavors and waffles that look delicious, too! It was very clean, modern, and comfortable inside. My son had leaned on a table when we were in - and unfortunately knocked it over. I felt horrible but the owner (I believe) was so easy going and didn’t mind at all. They just swept up the dust from the crack and let it go which was so kind. Definitely recommend this...

I walked in at 9:15pm because the door was cracked open and the sign outside said the summer hours were until 10:00pm only for the three employees who were standing at the counter doing nothing to say very rudely “we’re closed”…then why is your door literally open? And if you closed at 9:00pm and it’s now 9:15pm you’ve had plenty of time to close it? Also for me to assume June counts as summer hours doesn’t seem unreasonable to me.
