My Place BBQ Tahlequah — Restaurant in Tahlequah

I wanna say a lil word about my experience tonight at MY PLACE BAR-BQ..The food was great I started with a salad which had everything you could want on it ham,bacon bits,olives,croutons,boiled egg slices,it was amazingly good then as I was finishing my salad they delivered fresh basket of fries to my table n I headed to the buffet where I loaded my plate with fried catfish,pork loin,chopped beef,brisket,ribs,smoked sausage,beans,corn,Texas toast it was all great but the ribs and catfish was as good or better than the best I had ever eatin..I left with a tight shirt a full belly and a pleasant experience of meeting a man named Kelly Downing and hand shake...now if u don't know Kelly is having it rough rite now his 8 year old Golden child lil girl is battling 214 weeks of treatment for lukeimeia...so let's do wats right eat good n support one of r local families n keep The Downing family in...

I ate there for the first time today. I’m not one to usually dislike food but I didn’t like this BBQ flavor. Very nice place, great customer service. I really was excited about the idea of the BBQ buffet. I just couldn’t get my taste to enjoy something about how this BBQ flavor hit me. It was too vinagerish? Twangy? Just wasn’t my flavor of BBQ I guess. Other than that. This was an amazing place. I really wanted to like the food but I honestly just didn’t. By all means though, that was the only thing I didn’t like about this place. If you have never tried it, I hope you would, maybe you will enjoy that particular BBQ style more than I did. I honestly hate to be down on something like this, it just wasn’t my flavor and if it were mine, I would appreciate...

The buffet was empty, the waitress was snotty, we had to wait over an hour for our food and it was cold as ice and the meat taste like rubber and the Mac and cheese also, I said excuse me to the waitress she came over and I begin to tell her about the food she picks up my plate and walks off as I'm talking then as the nerve to tell us we were the worst customers ever..I will never give that place my business our bill was over 100.00 dollars and she never came back to check on anyone at the table talked to the manager all he could say is well we're trying excuse me my food wouldn't be cold and neither would anyone else at the tables you need hire more folks that can do the job finally at the end we only paid for 2 meals when there...
