I would rate this hotel less than 1⭐️ if it were possible. I checked in on Thursday August 18th around 8:30pm. And check out August 20th around 10:30am. When I arrived with my mom & we got our room key. We went to the room & the door was propped open with the luggage rack & the tv was on. We went back to the check-in counter & told them that we thought they gave us the wrong room. We were told that they propped the door open so it could air out & the tv was supposed to be on. So we went back to the room & went in. Walking down the hall we smelled an odor. And upon entering our room was aware of why they left the door open. When I took my house shoes off to get in bed I noticed the carpet felt damp. We had an ok stay & checked out without incident. But on our way home I received a phone call from Best Western Tahlequah. They accused me of stealing their hair dryer & said they were charging me $50. I told them we never saw a hair dryer in the room. And she told us that they were charging us for it anyways. After she rudely hung up on us. We called corporate & they filled out a complaint on our behalf. And said we should hear back from them in 2-5 days. That was the first & last time we will ever stay at Worst Western. I have also notified the bank & disputed the charge. I’m not a thief & don’t appreciate being accused of being one. Who knows how many people entered the room while the door was open airing out.

Easy to find since it's right on the south entrance to town. The bed is comfortable and the area is quiet. A continental breakfast is provided. Stick with the waffles, sausage and biscuits. Like most hotels, the eggs are often overcooked. Two issues of note: 1- It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to divert the water from the tub to the shower. I later found out that there is a worn out illustration taped to the front desk in the lobby. The person who checked me in didn't point it out to me. Hey Best Western! How about posting a sticker in the bathroom where folks will see it! 2- While eating breakfast, I noticed a housekeeper mopping the lobby floor. When I boarded the elevator to go back to my room, I smelled something horrible. I smelled it again when I took the elevator back downstairs. It turned out that the elevator and lobby floors were mopped with a dingy, dirty mop head. There was obviously no more cleanser or disinfectant (obviously) in that water. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and urged her to smell the elevator. She stepped in (but didn't let the door close) and insisted that everything was fine. I assured her it wasn't and left for the day. Thankfully, everything smelled fine that night as well as the following morning.

Warning was REFUSED REFUND. Booked and paid for room though priceline.com. and when we went to check in was told per company policy they needed $250 cash deposit also because I live within 50 miles of this hotel. Priceline tried to give me a refund but the hotel refused saying it was in the fine print of the details on the contract 🤔. I paid $109 for a room I never got to use, Thank you Best Western for your customer service, good bless 🙏. One final thought, I appreciate your reply and apology to this post though I still do not understand why you still refuse to give me a refund when Priceline tried to give me one.

Hello all:

Please do not book here unless you want to pay more as this branch likes to create fraudulent fees (please review the other google reviews as it seems to be a constant complain for this branch) . Stay somewhere else like Airbnb's or other hotels in the area . I have been a Best Western customer for over 10 yrs traveling the US and this is the first branch that has left me with complete disbelief, horrible customer service, refusing to give explanations or take my call, and details that are valid for an addition $250 misc. charge. The managers refuse to take my call. The employee I spoke to rudely claimed that I tried to lie about having pets which is not true after supposedly she tried to call me 16 times which is a lie. During my stay I spoke to the lady at the counter and she kindly informed me that my reservation had no pet fee added and it would be $25 additional fee a night which I said I don't know why it wasn't on the app reservation I did, but yes proceed to include without an issue, (this was first day of my stay) nothing else was mentioned. They then created a fraudulent charge of $250 dollars to my final invoice. I contacted corporate who stated this branch has to provide me a valid explanation to justify the additional $250 fee, one employee said I was notified prior to checking out which is untrue never received that information until the final invoice was sent to my email, another said it was a cleaning fee, and finally manager called said it was because my dog was barking (note hotel was booked and our neighboring rooms had both dogs in them) . Please do not book here this has to be the worst branch of Best Western. I have reported to BBB and other agency as I continue to pursue answers and full refund. I hope no one else experiences this. If this doesn't get resolved Best Western will be loosing a long time customer as you cannot allow one branch to create fraudulent fees and represent...

We came in from out of state because our daughter was graduating with her master's degree from NSU. I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have the good experience that apparently others have reported having.

The good: 1) All of the staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. 2) The hotel seems very clean and smells nice.

The not so good: 1)Our TV wasn't working and while they were very quick to come up from the front desk, they were unable to address the issue. We were told it was a hotel wide problem, which was not true. After about 2 hours, I figured it out myself by resetting the DirecTV receiver behind the dresser. 2)The climate control was not working properly in our room so the first night was miserable, either freezing cold or way too hot. Apparently the control panel was not functioning properly and had to be replaced, which was done on day two of our stay. 3)There were three of us in the room and we only had two towels. I understand this is rather minor, but it's the little things that add up to a great or a not-so-great experience . 4)The pool is small and not heated so it was ICE cold and unusable.... So sad for my 5-year-old granddaughter, and me too! If you're not going to heat the pool, just get rid of it. There's no hot tub, so you can't even warm up. And the pool/pool area is also definitely in need of some TLC. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a letdown. I will be finding someplace else to stay the next time we...
