Ned's — Restaurant in Tahlequah

This place has high prices and is not too clean. It is a locally owned business and I guess they think they are above all expectations of what a bar should look like and how it should be kept. The staff is pretty nice and helpful but is it worth going when it is as nasty inside as it is? There are a wide range of walks of life that go here and a good way to meet people but it’s just not so worth it to step in only god knows what or catch something in the filthy bathroom or pay the prices they ask for their watered down drinks....

This place holds a special place in my heart since this is my home town. I walked in the door and exchanged a short nod with the bartender, and not only did they recognize me but also remembered my drink order to perfection. They treat their regulars well. The atmosphere might not be for everybody, but it feels like memories of home to me. Any time I happen to be home, a customary visit to neds is always on the agenda for the night. I've been going to Ned's since I was 21. They are slowly moving forward. They have a nice covered outdoor area and They just recently put new felt on all their pool table, it was badly needed. For the pool tables they have, and they have plenty, they are $1.25 a game. I will stick with the black diamond tables at dewains. They are superior tables and only $1.00 a game. But with some inside improvements, Ned's would be a very nice...
