I will never return to this Chili's location again. My family and I have been going here several times a year since the location first opened. It used to be a wonderful place to go, but it has gone downhill so much. Tonight was the last straw. I went with my family as a large group of 11 or 12 people. Apparently you can now only get one basket of chips for each order of tortilla chips, whereas previously, you could order for the whole group, and they would bring out 2 or so baskets so everyone could reach. We were informed that we would have to pay for two orders if we wanted more than one basket, even though the chips and salsa are bottomless. So we got two orders. The waitress also made a big show of taking the baskets away to refill him. Every other time I've gone to this location or any other, they have always brought out multiple baskets of chips and salsa for big tables without charging for multiple orders. The chicken was not fully cooked and the steak that was ordered medium well came out medium. The service was very lacking. I ordered the 2 for $25 deal that comes with a dessert with the options of either a cheesecake or cookie skillet. I asked if I was able to upgrade to the molten chocolate cake and was informed that they could not just upcharge it and I would have to pay for the full cost of the cake. I opted not to get the cake, no big deal. When preparing to leave, the waitress asked if anyone wanted to go drinks. My sister asked if there was a charge for the to go drinks (which would not be a surprise with all the other changes that have occurred), and the waitress responded rudely, "Very funny," as if it was a joke and not a legitimate question. Overall, it was one of the worst restaurants experiences I've had as far as poor customer service goes. From the very start, not one attempt was made by the staff to make the visit pleasant. On top of that, the food quality is much worse compared to the other location in town, and they don't bother to cook it fully. I will go out of my way to go to the other Chili's location in town now simply because this one...
Read moreWe arrived at Chili's this evening (Sunday) @ around 6:30 in the evening. When we first arrived we were told it was a 20-30 minute wait. We waited for almost an hour. The thing that got us was the fact that the place wasn't as crowded as they were making it out to be. There were plenty of booths open with no one seating in them. When we were finally seated we waited a good 15 minutes till the waitress came over to get our drink order. I decided to get an acholic beverage. Well the lady didn't take a second to listen to what flavor I wanted or even take a second to hear what appetizer we wanted to start with. She was just too quick to hear the names of the drink to hear any details. We figured that maybe she would come back and ask us what flavor I wanted when she realized she didn't get a flavor. No this was not the case. We waited for another 10 to 15 minutes to get our drink. When I got the drink it was the original flavor and had salt along the rim of the glass. I wanted strawberry with sugar along the glass. I tried to explain that to her but all she heard was sugar on glass. She changed the glass but not the drink. At that point I just drank what I had and gave up on that one. Now when it came to ordering the food they were out of almost everything. From chicken crispers, tortilla shells, mashpotatoes, and more. We decided to go with burgers. When we got or burger (which took another 30 minutes) it was plan with no fixings. No pickles no lettuce no ketchup nothing we asked for. The bowl of potato soup looked like a very small portion consider the size of the bowl. The waitress never refilled my husband's glass of soda, never checked on us and she was too fast to even listen to us. We were very disappointed. We haven't had a date night away from home and the children in a long time. We heard this place was good and we choose this place to go out of every where else we could have chosen. Very disappointed tonight and won't recommend this...
Read moreHaven't been to Chili's on Thomasville Rd in almost a year. my family (3 adults,1 teenager, 2 kids age 9 &10 and 2 babies age 16 months and 9 mths) went last night and I remembered why I haven't been. We walked in the doors around 8:30pm with maybe 3 tables in use. They told us it would take 15 min to clean a area. After 10 min had passed and we seen no one come clean any tables, we asked how much longer it would take and right away they cleaned 2 tables for us Ok cool, so then we placed appetizers of fried pickles and chips and salsa...that took 30 mins. The waitress kept taking forever to come back to take our drink and dinner order. From the time we walked through the door, sat nd got our appetizers an hour had already passed. I told her that we have babies that was hungry and the wait had been ridiculous for no one to be in the restaurant. The waitress brung the kids food out and just left. I had to walk to the kitchen after about 5 mins to ask for ketchup and salt and pepper. Then finally another 20 mins passed and she brung the adults food out. And guess what it was damn near cold. It seemed like it had been cooked but just sitting under a light. I asked for a manager which was a tall medium build black guy and voiced my concerns about the service and wait time. I told him apparently the kitchen crew must be running their mouths more than cooking and serving. He nonchalantly came and apologized and said it was unacceptable for the service we recieved with a 50% less capacity but yet only 2-3 families in the restaurant. Yes and it's a shame he can't manage a few employees, which means he is the problem as well. Said he would make it right and came back with four $5 gift cards....🤔🙄 we bought 3 drinks, apps, 4 adult entrees, 2 kids meal... which our meal was well over $100 ... but that's ok horrible service gets no more money from us, a bad review and karma lol. I'm disappointed for this kind of service in a well...
