My husband's order was incorrect on 12/28/2020. I immediately called and informed the store manager. He went back and forth with me and then with my husband stating my husband didn't order the sandwiches the way he was now saying and he knows because he personally took the order. My husband wasn't given a receipt and we were told it had been too many orders since to do a reprint. We literally called as soon as we bit into the sandwiches once home. He instructed us to come back the next day and to bring the sandwiches as well. We weren't able to go back the next day.
My husband went back today for the replacement order today 1/5/2021 and was told by the manager on duty that nothing was written down in the books and he would have to come back after 5:00 pm once the night manager was in.
I went back at 5:00. I asked for the store manager. He came up. I advised him I was there to have an order replaced and that I didnt come back immediately because we had been advised to quarantine. He immediately stated oh, no we haven't had any complaints and I would know because we don't have many complaints. I said well let me bring this back to your memory since you neglected to write this down in your books which has caused us another trip here. I started explaining to him the conversation we had on 12/28/2020, he then stated oh, I remember! Your husband said he didn't want A1 sauce when you guys called but when he ordered he didn't tell me that.
I let him know that I wasn't there when the order was taken and that my husband knows that I dont eat A1 sauce and that i don't appreciate having to come to the store for a third time. He said that he was giving me a drink for my inconvenience and handed me a cup. I told him we purchased two meals so he wasn't doing me a favor, because a meal comes with a drink. He then went back and forth with me stating we only ordered one sandwich and went to explain Dairy Queen's policy on replacing orders. Also, how he has had people from the near-by hotel call back after placing an order and complain so that they could have their entire order replaced. My response was, had you given him a receipt to begin with we wouldn't be having this conversation.
He then asked how I wanted the sandwiches? I said I want the sandwiches to be made exactly how they come BUT no A1 sauce. He responds.. that's not what your husband ordered. I said I'm telling you how the sandwiches need to be made. He then says well I dont understand you.. so we go back and forth AGAIN! There are three other workers looking. One repeats the way I asked for the sandwiches. I then addressed the sandwich maker directly.. hey are you going to be making the sandwiches? He responded yes. I then tell him the sandwiches that I want and that I want them exactly how they come but no A1 sauce. He makes the sandwiches!
As the sandwich maker is bagging my order the store manager says, give me another fry before she complains.

I have been contacting DQ at this restaurant since the order was placed and the following has been stated: I asked to speak with a manager, I was informed the Individual that answered the phone was the manager. I asked for the individuals name and he stated "how can I help you man" without providing his name. Upon informing the said manager of my issue/concerns he stated he's NOT the manager and I will need to speak with the owner. I asked for the owners name and again, the name was never provided. I went to the location to speak on the matter NO ONE WAS OF ASSISTANCE! NO ONE! They didn't even acknowledge me. I asked how could I get in touch with corporate to inform them of the matter & I was informed to call the number on my receipt. Well, that number is to the store (DQ). The issue was and still is that we NEVER RECEIVED our food! I informed the said manager (who lied about being the manager) of the situation and I informed him that we NEVER received our food. Bottom line here it is 2 weeks later and we STILL haven't been assisted with nothing! When I tell you this is the worst experience we have EVERRRR experienced with or at Dairy Queen. Thee Worst and we haven't ordered every since! We didn't even request a refund we wanted our food and STILL do. Please, if you will assist with this matter. Read moreI was coming to give a big shout to the DQ at 2227 N Monroe St because my family and I visit quite often and the staff here always so nice. We have never had any issues with the food or the service. I am very disturbed by a review that i just read that was penned by Ms. Q Carter because i remember the Sunday in question because my wife and I were behind Ms Carter in the drive thru and we both remember her because she was screaming at the lady in question, but the tap she claimed she did with her umbrella was quite a bit more because she broke her umbrella and almost broke the window. They closed the window because of the profanity that was being hurled at them by Ms Carter my wife was in the process of calling 911 for the employees but she pulled off. when we got to the window we made sure that the employees did not need the police and we tipped them all for keeping thier cool and how they handled her, we are local business owners and we are also black, it is so disturbing that someone in this day and age with everything going on in the world would stoop so low as to use the race card SHAME ON YOU Ms Carter.
