Geo's Pool And Pub — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I tried to like this place and it has potential for it's location. The staff are friendly and there is a nice low-key and comfortable feel whenever I've been there in the afternoons. Unfortunately, in the evenings (and I tried em all) it's dead in a bad way... the bar is packed stool to stool with older working class drunks who just look at you funny and there is no music and almost no people shooting pool and then there's the creepy couple of older ghetto guys that just sit there at a remote table eyeing everyone (seen them 3 different times). I doubt that's the vibe the owner's are going for. Sorry, tried to like it but it looks like the latest victim of the alcoholic 50 somethings who want to drink quietly in the same place...

What a great place! We discovered this visiting our son who is going to FSU and recently started getting into pool. The atmosphere and neighborhood feel of this place is exactly what we were looking for. The tables and quality of cues, etc. was great. The place is so clean and was even decorated fun for Halloween. However, the best thing was the great, friendly, perfectly timed service Heather provided! She refilled our drinks promptly, recommended the amazing pretzels and beer cheese. The beer cheese is the bomb, a must try! We will be visiting whenever we are in Tallahassee. Thanks for a great afternoon hanging out with our son! What a wonderful place for lunch and the service is Great!! Also food was excellent and the prices were outstanding very reasonable Also The restaurant is kept up very clean and our service was excellent we definitely recommend Geo Pool & Pub and the best part for last check out Chef Zack in the kitchen he's got it going on every day We spoke to us today and said everything that comes out of his kitchen got to be fresh even the meats he said fresh is best and we agree there's an example look at that receipt you can't beat it we definitely recommend it we hope you enjoy your time there like...
