Service was horrible. I am an out-of-town visitor who looked up the place online for good salads.. It was recommended and said order online, come in in 30 minutes and it will be ready! perfect! Well, showed up, place is empty, go to the counter and find out that no one knew about my order.. uh oh.. Young lady said oh we just had a big rush!! There was a couple finishing up and a family of 4 waiting at a table - oh my!! so they said just a minute.. Checked the fax machine and there was a fax sitting there..she ssaid, oh I thought I heard the phone ring!! So, after reading my order - - no special requests - She confirmed that I ordered a regular black bean and warm grilled chicken salad.. She repeated, you want chicken right?? Yes I said. Then i saw split pea soup on the board... I asked is there meat in that or any butter or cream?? she went pick up the pot lid, stirred and said.. no meat or cream.. REALLY?? FOOD: Extremely flavorful and filling. The menu has a good variety of options mainly sandwiches, soups and salads and price points are appropriate. I always get the Chef's salad with all turkey since I don't eat pork. I love that they put sprouts on their salad, serve it with crackers and have dressings beyond your common and typical "ranch and Italian." The salads come in two sizes and the small is called a "mini" but do not be fooled by the name. The "mini" is a huge salad that is definitely enough to fill up an adult. The presentation on the salads are great and although I don't typically like "large chunks" of vegetables on my salads, this one is amazing. I simply take a knife and make the tomatoes and peppers small enough for my liking. This is one of the best places in town for a salad!
SERVICE: The customer service is quick and efficient. I usually call in an order.
LOCATION: Parking lot

The menu at Hopkins Eatery is wide and varied, offering something for everyone. But let's talk about the salads - they are an absolute winner! The Black Bean Grilled Chicken salad, with its flavorful feta, juicy tomatoes, and the delightful balsamic vinaigrette, never fails to satisfy my taste buds. My dinner companion was equally thrilled with the Cashew Chicken salad plate - a delightful treat in every way.
