Cross Creek Square — Local services in Tallahassee

Cross creek square is approximately 1mi.from my home. I am a frequent shopper at many of the fine shops located there. As I suffer from a heart condition, this is also a healthy walk as long as I stop and rest at the first sign of difficulty in breathing. After shopping,I had 3bags of groceries in bags clearly marked with the name of the store I had purchased them from. After crossing the parking lot, I felt my chest start to tighten,and my breath start to become labored ,so I sat on the concrete base of a light pole,set my bags down,and began to catch my breath. Immediately a truck pulled up,a man stepped out, and said "You can't hang out here" I explained my situation and told him that I needed to catch my breath and that I only needed about 5 minutes and I would be on my way. He responded with "you are trespassing, you can't hang out here" Well, this plum hung me up! I most certainly was not trespassing I explained to this uneducated security guard. He offered to call the police so I told him that would be fine, I would wait 5 minutes for them but they were going to want to know why he had not offered to call an ambulance for someone complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath. Well I guess that hung him up for the 5 minutes I needed to catch my breath and be on my way. The next day I complained to the store and they said yes they were well aware of the actions of plantation security, but were unable to do anything about them,as they had been hired by the owners of Cross...

This is a shopping center located at the intersection of, Capitol Circle East and Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee Florida.

This shopping center consists of: -KFC restaurant -Popeyes restaurant -Planet Fitness Gym -Hong Kong Chinese restaurant -Lynn's Oriental Market -Dollar Tree store -Rooms To Go Furniture Store -Catalina Cafe -Cross Creek Coin Laundry -The Fix Thrift Shop -Acceptance Auto Insurance -Hopkins Eatery -Southern Growers -Capital Seafood Market -Southern Amusement Arcade -Pepboys Auto shop And a few other vendors are coming to this shopping center soon.

I personally only go to Planet Fitness here, I definitely recommend...

A decent strip mall on the northwest corner of US-27 (Apalachee Parkway) and US-319 (Capital Circle), I was here for the Planet Fitness. Here during daylight hours, the shopping center was in good shape with no obvious vacancies.

Restaurants, professional offices, a seafood/oriental market, Dollar Tree and county offices. I'm not sure if the tire shop and fast food joints are actually in the shopping center or adjacent but they're easy to access.

The buildings had a clean appearance. The parking lot had no potholes though some of the parking stripes could use a refresh. There are streetlights here but they don't operate in...
