Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Tallahassee

First time trying jimmy johns. The only thing better than the subs was the great customer service. You see i’m cripple and in my haste to get there for my order the wife placed on line i forgot my cane. Seeing that i was struggling to stand much less walk to the counter the gentleman, Peter forgot his last name the second, took my name and went to get my pick up order then came around the counter threw up his arm like a father walking his daughter down the isle and said let’s go i got you sir. I quickly grabbed his forearm and off we went. Peter the second opened the door for me walked me to my car opened the car door and waited tor me to lift my legs in. I then lowered my window and he handed me my subs and informed me that i could use the drive thru in the future tu pick up my order. That’s why I will use Jimmy Johns in the future not because of the great food, which it was, not because of the good price, which it was, not because of the quick turn around time, which it was but because a company that hires guys like Peter the second, as I now call him , took the time in a busy day, they were packed, to help one cripple 59 year old veteran get his food and get back to his car and for just that brief period of time made me feel that there are really good people in this world who live and care for that moment in time to share their enthusiasm and love for others. We suddenly had a big family thing going on and needed two or three boxes and lots of chips for the get together. My wife went to Jersey Mike's in the morning of that day and the manager was cranky and said they only took large box orders the day before. No one was in the store. The manager made no effort to accommodate and was seemingly irritated with our request. So, my wife headed off to Jimmy John's. We hadn't done large order there before. The manager there was VERY positive and glad to take the order. He said that if we needed anything else to call him before pick up. We showed up later that same day and everything in the order was perfect and on time. So guess where we are going for large family orders in the future? We'd hate to annoy the Jersey Mike's manager by being a burden and ordering...

July 29th on the news to employees fight for spitting in subs I consider that assault and dangerous assault because of the germs they should do more than just fire them they should be arrested I won't eat at Jimmy John's again they don't watch who they hire yuck their personalities in most of the chains are nasty anyways one guy kicked me out because I asked for mayonnaise he didn't put it then when I asked again he threw the container at me instead of putting it on the sub and I asked him put it on the sub And he told me to get out he was soon fired why is the young generation so nasty to the public and they get away with it it's the manager's fault they don't know how to train because they themselves don't know what manners...
