I was a first-time customer at the monroe location & using the online pick-up order. The app tells you to wait for your food to be placed in the mobile pickup spot. However, I did just that and stood where the employees could see me, but 10 minutes later I still did not see them working on my order and I heard an employee tell the cashier I was probably waiting for a mobile order, but the cashier still did not come out from the back to help me. It wasn't until another employee told her to go help me that I heard what she clearly meant for me to hear, that she does not greet or help anyone until they go up to her register. I then walk from the mobile order line to the register line, and finally the cashier walks up to me and repeats how she wasn't going to greet or help me until I stood at the register, even though she saw me standing there for 10 minutes waiting in the mobile line. She then proceeded to tell me that due to Uber eats and other customers taking food that isn't their order, they no longer place food at the mobile pick up station so Im lucky I finally stood infront of her register because she wasnt going to help me otherwise. I politely informed her that they should either put up a sign on the mobile station or take the mobile station down, because the app clearly states to wait at that station for your food, and I was only following directions as a new customer. She offered no apology and again stated matter-of-factly that she doesn't greet anyone or will walk up to help until a customer stands in front of her register. She assumed I should know the app was wrong, and then acted like she was doing me a favor by making my order, instead of giving good customer service.
I guess she thinks she is teaching customers a lesson, or punishing customers for the few that took the wrong meal from the mobile counter. Either way, even though the chicken tenders and fries were good, and 2 of the other cashiers are super friendly, we probably...
Read moreAbsolutely worst KFC I have ever encountered. They simply do not care and clearly there is no consequences for the unprofessional behavior. The employees openly chose not to do their jobs.
Last week as soon as i pulled up to the establishment there were multiple cars already waiting on their food and vocalizing their frustrations. This is nothing new for this establishment. Nobody cared. Walked in to get a order which had already been paid for and the employees were in the kitchen hiding. Not one person at the front counter. However the chairs were all put up, floor had been mopped and they were preparing to get out of there. This was before 9pm. My guy friend asked loudly multiple times if he could be serviced. (Not to mention the other people in the lobby just waiting on them to come to the counter). After asking again, he walked around to get his order which had already been paid for and sitting there waiting to be handed to him. Once he got his food hisself, the employee was finally motivated enough to come from inside the kitchen. Only to LOCK THE DOORS! Yes, to LOCK THE FRONT DOOR to keep customers from coming inside. They lock the doors at random times whenever they feel like it so the drive thru is constantly backed up due to nobody being able to go inside and order. You can never get your food because it's always a wait. The Doordash orders loseomey because they are literally waiting 30 mins on chicken each time they get an order. How is this place still open? Shut this place down and retrain everybody from the top to the bottom. They do not care about their jobs or the customers. They only care about going home for the day, which is where they should be permanently. If the employees put HALF the amount of energy into servicing their customers as they do preparing to leave for the night they'd be in a...
Read moreI don't know who works here, but this place has gone down faster than a sinking ship. The biscuits were hard as a rock the last 3 times we went, including last week. They person in drive through always says pull to the 1st window, but there is never anyone at that window, so we pull to the 2nd window. Then they look at us crazy & ask did we pay? I tell them each time, there was no one at that window & no we haven't paid. Then look irritated when they have to ring up our food there or walk our card to the person at the 1st window. Maybe if the people working here would stay where they're supposed to be instead of always walking off this wouldn't be an issue. This place use to always be full, but now it's always a ghost town. The mac & cheese is extremely nasty, tastes like it came from a box & they added some old cheese wiz to it. The cold slaw tastes nasty as if it's been sitting out or they pourd water on it. The mash potatoes tastes like it straight came out of a box & wasn't even mixed completely. Chicken is either salty, tastes like was fried in old grease, tastes like hardly no seasoning was put on it, or it tastes like they threw it in the microwave before giving ot to use. The chicken sandwichs are drowned in mayo, not everyone likes a chicken sandwich drowned in mayo. Had me so sick I couldn't eat any real food for 2 days, had me feeling like I had food poisoning. The only side worth getting is the fries & that's if they actually fry them while you wait, not the ones sitting up for who knows how long.
The KFC's in Tallahassee have always been terrible, but this one started off really good, but I see it's been dragged down in the gutter. Won't ever go back to this place & I wouldn't recommend this place to...
