Went there after a doctor's appointment with my wife and two of our grandchildren. Everything was good until we got home and realized that something was missing from our order. JFYI we had ordered at the drive-through window. So, after arriving at home and realizing our order was incomplete, we called back to the restaurant to inform them of the issue. The young lady who answered the phone was beyond rude and disrespectful. Her tone and attitude could be heard, felt, and "smelled" through the phone. Just a stinky attitude. After mumbling something to someone there at the restaurant, she apparently hung up the phone. Several attempts to call back were obviously ignored. So, now I call corporate to complain about the problem at this restaurant and was told that my complaint would be forwarded to the franchise ownership for them to address my complaint. One day later and still no remedy. Mind you that I'm nearly 60 years old and habitually avoid eating at fast food restaurants. But on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at about 12:31 pm, I was hungry after the aforementioned doctor's appointment, so we stopped at McDonald's to try out the new Chicken Big Mac. So, needless to say, I was super disappointed and insulted with the experience we had when we called back to inform them of the error. We basically feel like the people working there apparently thought it was OUR fault that the order was incomplete. This McDonald's is located at 1944 N Monroe St in Tallahassee FL. With this kind of treatment of paying customers, I would strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this location. I will update this review based on the final outcome, but I will never ever EVER go to this location again. That goes for my wife, my kids and grandkids, and me. Read moreIt had been years since I've been to a McDonalds, apparently their policy has changed and the self serve drink machines are no longer in the lobby. I requested my mobile order through the drive through and was asked to park to receive the rest my order. After about 10mins of waiting patiently in my car, my small sweet tea was gone; so I went inside to refill my cup and discovered the machines are now behind the counter. The sweet cashier who assisted me in the drive thru and was on her way to bring me my order, immediately went to fix me another without request (thank you Darlin! I hope she didnt get in trouble for helping her customer). I suppose it was the manager (stalky fella in a baby blue button up shirt), who was there stated out loud to another cashier that people who order in the drive-thru aren't to have refills. As a constructive suggestion, while I can apprecite the sideways informative comment; the interaction seemed inappropriate for the setting. That info could have been saved for the next team meeting. The $0.20 in sugar leaf water you were trying to save the company was much better spent appeasing your customer (me) who had already waited 10mins parked outside for a drive thru fast food mobile order. At least for McDonalds my steak bagel was fresh, although the texture of the bagel is offputting and should be toasted....

I walked inside asked for a manger the young guy walked up to me said I’m the manager what’s up withcha I asked for another manager instantly. He asked how could he help I explained to him. He told me they short staffed, again my issue is not the wait it’s the fact that you guys are only serving one window.(clearly not listening to my issue) and I’m being very nice. Asked to speak with another manager she walked up, she knew the lady behind me so she told her BEFORE ME I know what you want it’s coming up. (For free) ok cool not my business. She finally asked me what do you need so at this point I see your ride as the guy asking what’s up withcha I’ll rather just file my complaint for over 10 mins I was denied the store number from literally every manager on site. I’ve had bad experiences with this very same McDonalds. There was one young man on site they tried to assist even came out to my car personally to take my order unfortunately nobody has name tag on but for him to care more than the store manger says so much about this store. I hope this store eventually finds more better help this horrible customer service has been going on...
