Wow, that was rough! From the small, stale garlic toast to the soggy, soaked in oil, "fried" ravioli; 4 very sad and flat ravioli sitting in a thin bed of oil soaked spinach. Marinara tasted a week old and starting to separate. The fettuccine tasted like watered down and slightly old soupy Alfredo sauce. Had about 5-6 bites then right in the trash. The best part of the meal was the cannoli. No way that thing was made in the same kitchen. I thought I'd try a new place, just wish I didn't invest so much $$ on such an epic fail. I would've drove this right back if I wasn't so embarrassed for getting tricked into paying for it already. Kitchen needs serious attention. My stomach hurts just writing this. Good luck

Ordered blackened Mahi caesar salad to go. It was the worst mahi, it was so tough, obviously very old and/or freezer burnt. Mahi was the thinest piece I've ever seen, tougher than the croutons and had no taste. They made another one to replace it. Since I already ate the salad, they only replaced the mahi. The owner explained it was tough bc "there's no juice" in the salad, so the 2nd piece they fixed was just the fillet drowning in lemon juice and that was also just as tough. The food it old and stale, and had absolutely no flavor. I paid $20 for a bowl of lettuce that didn't even fill up the container. The caesar dressing was the only thing that was ok. Will not return.

I used to eat at Milano Italian Grill all the time when my grandmother lived in Kings Point. I haven't eaten here in years, but it's still how I remember. Today I placed a lunch order for a large pizza with half eggplant. My order was ready on time and the pizza was tasty! While the sauce had a heavier wine flavor than I remember, I really enjoyed it as it stands out from other pizza places.

My parents order take-out from here regularly and think it's good. I believe their tastebuds are failing. Their food is never consistent. I've had subs where the rolls have been stale (tasted like they were frozen, thawed, then let to sit for a day after thawing), and others where the bread has been fresh. They ALWAYS undercook their sweet potato fries, even when ordered well done. Their pizza is often soggy (again, even when ordered well done). They tend not to follow special directions (like no onions, or well done). My last experience was with eggplant parmigiana, ordered well done of course. I like some colour in the cheese, and I like my eggplant to have some crispiness. I ended up with lukewarm, soggy eggplant with several pieces where the eggplant wasn't fully cooked through and no colour in the cheese. The lukewarm had NOTHING to do with it being a delivery order as this order was at our door less than 1/2 hour after calling. People shouldn't have to order items as well done to make sure they're actually cooked through, let alone warmed to a decent eating temperature! Sweet potato fries require almost double the cooking time of french fries just to cook through. It's very disconcerting when biting into one to have the crunch coming from the sweet potato still being raw in the center.

EDIT 4/22/2015 - They still haven't figured out how to cook french-fries or sweet potato fries (always underdone), but their Bowtie Pasta dish makes all the frustration worthwhile.

EDIT 2/21/2019 - They are still very disorganised with take out orders and deliveries and I believe they've either gotten a new cook or an old one has returned. Parents still insist on ordering from there, and now they're slicing onions 3 times wider than they need to be for pizza, their meat toppings have been skimpy and their vegetable toppings tend to overrun into the meat portion. Pizza tends to arrive quickly, but anything else can take forever to arrive. 45 minutes is acceptable when you live less than a mile from the restaurant, but 1.5 hours or over (with several calls to check after the 1 hour point) is never acceptable. Spend the money and hire a cook to expedite in the kitchen, or just get out of the restaurant business and sell your marinara sauce...

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 2 years and never had a bad meal until tonight. I looked at the special dinners and they zucchini pasta with chicken. When I got my meal the zucchini noodles were so mushy I had a hard time eating them, the majority of the chicken was so tough you could chew it. I sent it back as unexceptionable. The waitress came back and asked if I wanted anything else. I said no that I was fine just our bill. When she brought our bill she said that they would take nothing off the bill because I ate the salad and tried eating the dinner. She deducted the drinks? First of all the price for my dinner was $18.99, which considering what it was was way overpriced. There were a lot of customers there or I would have made a big deal. The owner or cook should have come out to ask what was wrong. Nothing. There are so many Italian restaurants in this area I guess I will have to find a new one, as I will never go back there or recommend this to anybody. I have been in this industry for many years and I know you take care of...

I had lived in the area previously and have now moved back into the area and wanted to order from Milano's I had ordered twice from them and left a $2 tip for the driver, never being told what my total was. I had called for a third time for a Philly cheesesteak that was $9.50 and was told the total was $14. It was then that I learned that there was a $3 delivery fee on every order. I question why wasn't told this when I had given a $2 tip on a $10 sandwich twice before. I asked if they would waive the delivery fee on this order and I would be happy. They refuse to do it, but told me I could drive to their location to pick up $2, which is absolutely ridiculous and bad management. I have no problem tipping and I tip very well. it's a matter of principle and understanding business practices. I left an email for the company to see if they will Rectify this, as their manager is unwilling to do anything and very argumentative. They've lost a customer that lives five blocks away if they're not able to show some sort of appreciation and...
