We went and tried Culver’s for the first time today. It’s clean inside as it should be bc it is a new location that just opened. I’ve never had Culver’s food before so I am not overly familiar with this specific chain. For starters I won’t give a low rating based on service bc again, new location and they’re trying to get their rhythm. The poor employees all look like they were out of sync. I don’t understand the thought process for serving the food using number placards and trying to find the table for that order. It took 40 min for 3 of us to get our food, which was simply a sandwich meal and no desserts. To me that defeats the purpose of fast food as this is supposed to be a fast food chain, not a full service restaurant. I was kinda surprised bc I know they’re busy but it wasn’t busting out the door or half the dining area was full busy. The few employees we encountered were absolutely sweet tho. I didn’t see name tags so I couldn’t tell you who I spoke with but they were really nice and professional. Now onto the food. I took off a star bc I figured since my husband ordered a burger, I’d try his and I got excited by the Rueben melt and onion rings. When we finally got our order I noticed my Reuben had a very nice cheese pull and I was thrilled!! Then I took a bite. Oh dear god, all I tasted was a mouthful of salt, brine and grease. I tried another bite thinking I hit a spot with more salt than usual but nope. It was a BAD choice on the Reuben melt. It was inedible. I wanted to like it. I really did, but I couldn’t. I actually enjoyed the onions rings! Thankfully a young woman came over and asked if everything was ok and I explained to her the issue she was super sweet and offered me something else and I just asked for a single culver deluxe and she brought me a DOUBLE! She really didn’t have to but she wanted my experience to be a positive one and that alone cemented me into definitely coming back again as well as the fact that was truly one of the most amazing burgers I’ve ever had! Beautifully seasoned and cooked exceptionally well. The buns were perfect. Oh, and I stole a French fry from hubbys plate and I gotta say, delicious!!! I actually liked them more than the onion rings to be honest. I’m hoping this place stays around for many more years and the quality of their burgers and fries stays as amazing as I had today!...
Read morePlace was great for the first few weeks it was open - now no one there cares. Don’t bother ordering ahead online - it will just take longer.
The food quality declined, and customer service is horrible now - when they first opened it was great.
I placed an online order - says ready in 10 min, show up 15 min after to give them some more time, order not ready. All good, I can wait a few. When approaching 25 min from placing my order - I notice my food is just sitting on the counter waiting to be bagged and put on the to go shelf. I tried informing a team member who couldn’t be bothered, they finally looked at the food, confirm it’s mine, then proceed to tell another team member to bag it and then walk away.
It took another 5 minutes to place the food in a bag and hand it to me. Meanwhile the drive through orders are flowing out the door. A 30 min wait for fast food is just too much.
Now the food - used to be great, maybe it still is, but having the food hang out on the counter for 15 minutes killed it, everything was cold or dead. $20+ for a single fast food meal and it’s cold.
I wish the staff cared, because the food and service used to be great - and it could be if they just cared a little bit. Next time I’m in town and need a quick bite, I’ll go elsewhere and deal with the same crappy service and food for...

After driving around for what felt like forever trying to find a decent salad (and a working bathroom), we found ourselves about an hour and a half from Key Largo, low on gas and patience. We pulled off onto a stretch with a 7-Eleven, which sparked a little Wisconsin nostalgia since Kwik Trip bought them out back home. Unfortunately, the bathroom was out of order and the staff wasn’t exactly friendly.
Meanwhile, my son spotted a Culver’s nearby and walked over to grab me a salad — which felt like striking gold at that point. I finished fueling up and made my way over to Culver’s, where the experience was a complete 180 from the 7-Eleven stop. The staff was warm and welcoming (something I’ve found to be pretty consistent at Culver’s no matter where you are), the bathroom was clean and working (hallelujah), and we even got to enjoy our meal outside on a lovely patio surrounded by palm trees.
There’s just something so comforting about finding a familiar place like Culver’s while on the road — and seeing it with a Florida twist made it...
