Paradero 50 — Restaurant in Lauderhill

This place is a fantastic family run authentic Peruvian restaurant. I love it when you go to a restaurant and the menu is limited to only what they know how to execute very well. All the food is excellent and the owner and his family are extremely nice and accommodating. If you want some excellent home cooked Peruvian food using fresh ingredients in a chill and welcoming environment this is your place.

One last thing, I can't recommend the Frijol Con Seco enough. So good and the portion size was enough to feed you all day. Let's not forget the homemade desserts either. This place...

There are good Peruvian restaurants across South Florida, but this was one of the best. Not only was the homemade food (lomo saltado and pollo saltado) and drinks (chicha murada) phenomenal, but the environment was warm and hospitable. This family-run business wasn’t bothered by my questions about Peruvian history and culture but rather Jose (owner) and his daughter were eager to share.

I love eating ethnic foods and am quite experienced in doing so. The Peruvian food and the people here at Paradero 50 are something that should be experienced.
