Aladdin's Hut - Tampa's Best Halal Gyro — Restaurant in Tampa

I usually don't eat at gas stations, but from the clean and professional presentation I had to check it out. The Chef Shah was professional and courteous and his work stations were clean and he had on gloves! Menu with pictures were presented well outside of the gas station as well as inside. This the type of place only locals who live right next to the gas station would know. It was super quiet so i was afraid food might not be fresh. Just finished eating the chicken burger and fries. Chicken burger has lettuce, tomato and a thousand island type sauce. It was better than the grilled chicken sandwich at chickfila. Fries are fresh, crispy and seasoned. After moving to Tampa, I hadn't found any Halal food, which is one of my favorite types of food in NYC. After trying Aladdin's Hut ( I had the Chicken and Lamb over rice, with extra white sauce), I finally feel like I've got my go to for my Halal craving! And the location is easy to get to (right on Himes), a no frills, "hole in the wall" style take out counter inside the convenience store with a friendly staff. 5 stars...
