AstroBrew Coffee Tea Kava Hemp — Restaurant in Tampa

I was in the area and in need of a coffee, so I searched for nearby coffee shops and came across AstroBrew, which was open even after the recent hurricane. Curious to try something new, I decided to stop by.

The ambiance of the coffee shop was cozy and inviting, with a clear "coffee vibes" aesthetic that instantly makes you feel at home. The menu had plenty of enticing options, including seasonal fall flavors, which caught my attention. I had a great conversation with the server, who was super friendly and helpful in guiding me through their offerings. After explaining my preference for something less sweet, she recommended the Cinnamon Roll Kava Latte.

Within 10-15 minutes, I had my steaming cup of coffee in hand. The Cinnamon Roll Kava Latte was the perfect choice--it was hot, delicious, and had the perfect balance of cinnamon spice and freshly brewed coffee, without being overly sweet. The subtle fall flavors really added a cozy touch, making it a great way to start my day.

Mike and I went to a private event Wednesday night and it was our first time at AstroBrew. We met everyone at the event there for the first time as well. Lydia was absolutely AMAZING! We were brand new to kava, and she took the time to give us an impromptu class on it and went through numerous options in which it can be served at AstroBrew. We both chose to try the Chocolate Rocket with kava. It was delicious and very calming! We ordered the medium size drinks but were surprised to learn that their medium is actually pretty large. Not complaining! We'll definitely be back! Thanks to Charmed Rose for inviting us out, and thanks to all in attendance who were so inviting and kind to us. Having just moved to the area, this was the perfect venue and way to meet others...

Flying into Tampa alone from out of state, I figured it would be nice to wrap up the afternoon sitting in a coffee shop. Stopped by AstroBrew to see why it had 5 stars on Google. I was pleased to see it had a nice bar to sit at and enjoy my latte, and I told the barista I hope she didn't mind me hanging out for a little bit. She immediately made me feel so welcome. She entertained my curiosity on what kava is, and I could tell she was genuinely eager to do so. She made me one of the best vanilla lattes I've ever had, but even better than that was her personality. I honestly think she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
