Checkers — Restaurant in Tampa

My family was visiting Florida from Oregon. We have heard so many great things about Checkers and wanted to try them out. It was September 30th I want to say at about 9 pm. We came through the drive through on our way back to Orlando from Clearwater. Non of us knew what we wanted because we had never been here before. The lady taking our order was trying to rush us and clearly getting inpatient. She continued to ask if we where ready and even told us to hurry up and order.I have worked fast food I know that's annoying but we are not talking 5 or 10 minutes of us trying to decide. We are talking maybe 1 or 2 minutes. My sister finally snapped and said please hold on a minute. The person taking our order said " I don't have time for to hold on." We where kind of in shock. We decided to go some where else. Someone else tried to take our order but our minds where made up. My sweet kind mother pulled up to the window. She kindly asked if we could speak to the manager. Someone I am pretty sure wasn't a manager came to the window. My mom told him this was the worst customer service we had ever experienced and that she wanted to make them aware. She also let him know we would be going some where else. This man child was sooooo disrespectful to my mom. He said " awe baby I'm so sorry you feel that way..." his body language was disgusting! We drove away before he could finish! He is so lucky I was on the other side of the car and could not reach him because I would have come through that window and punched him so hard for the way he spoke to my mom! Everyone working this shift should be fired! I did not right a review while on vacation because this was the worst experience we had in Florida and we wanted to enjoy our time and not deal with it anymore! I am going through a list of places I am reviewing right now. 98% of those places I am giving a 5 star. This place..... if I could give it Lowe then a 1 I would give...

To begin with, I usually never put reviews out. I am not hard to please at all. But, this has been the worst service that I have ever received in my life from any establishment. It began immediately from the beginning. At the drive through line the service to order our food was horrible, unattentive, did not speak up, heard laughter in the background, and had a bad attitude. But, it did not stop there. We drove up to the window with the knowledge of ordering just 3 milkshakes. Our bill was $13. In my mind that price seemed high for just 3 shakes, that we're only medium. I asked, and they said yes. Once we payed, the cashier then says, did you order the burger, fries, etc. The cashier had already cashed us out and then asks us if we ordered that, which we did not. I then asked the cashier if he had mixed the orders up and that we may have payed for the wrong order. He did not reply many times and finally said that yes you did. And kept turning towards his friends laughing. I asked for a receipt and they did not give me one, after asking for it many times. Once our shakes came out, I then asked for straws that they forgot. They hand me 1 straw for 3 shakes. I then ask for more for the others. And they hand me 1 more straw. And I then had to repeat this again. I was very annoyed at this point, but I did not care as long as we received our drinks. Once we began to leave we noticed that the shakes we're not even shaken well and that they had made the shakes wrong. I did not wish to turn around because of how ridiculous the service was. HORRIBLE!! A rude manager took our money and gave us our drinks and walked off. We watched as 2 employees walked around like they had no idea what they were doing.20 minutes later the same manager asks if we had paid yet. By this point there's a line in drive through and 3 people at the walk up with no one getting food. Iur food has been waiting by the window for sometime. She slings us our food and we had to ask for straws. She never apologized for the wait or anything. We checked our food and the burger wasn't done right. It was slopped together and the chili cheese fries which was the sole purpose that I went there were clearly old and they put extra fries on top. Our food was cold when we got it. We were gonna complain but the line was too long and no one was really being waited on at the walk up and they had the second drive thru side closed. So that was a $30 loss.
