Save A Lot — Local services in Tampa

I'd give this store no stars .. actually I'd put this store in the negatives .. because their workers are very negative. Me and my boyfriend lost our daughter this week and it took alot for both of us to get up and go grocery shopping. Ever since I have gone there this lady has always watched me like a hawk always giving me nasty looks and every tine I go to cash out she has someone else cash me out. Now today after everything I have gone through this week with my boyfriend she went to the manager and told him I was stealing now I just cashed my huge paycheck went to Walmart dished out $427.56 I wanted to stop there at Save a lot to get to things I normally buy from that store. The SECOND I walked into that store the lady followed me everywhere then went to her manager and told him I was stealing she watched me she said i put things into my pocket but yet I'm wearing nothing that has pockets. Now since my daughter was born on Tuesday I am still heavy with the baby weight and what I was wearing was pretty tight. So as I am cashing out I'm in tears and she gave me a dirty look and walked away outside to my truck and yelled at my boyfriend. My boyfriend proceeded to let her know we lost our child and from her expression she didn't care she didn't say sorry for your loss she continued to yell at him. As in cashing out I'm I tears and telling the manager I'm sorry if I caused any sort of disturbance and I told again we lost our child and again I was sorry. I went to the truck to see my boyfriend a mess and told me what happened. I walked back into the store and both her and the manager were standing next to each other and I asked for her name. She didn't give it to me I looked at the manager he didn't tell me then I looked back at her and I asked again and she refused I was looking for her name tag but couldn't find it. As I stood there crying neither of them tired asked or did anything to make the situation better. I feel disrespected I feel like my strength it took us to get out of the house was in vain I also feel like I was being rushed and I would have spent more then the $78 for our Easter dinner with our baby boy we missed alot of the things on our list and have to go to yet another store. So negative stars from me. And numerous lost customers because my and his are never setting foot in a save...

I was in line behind a lady and her daughter. They were buying groceries and had insufficient funds and had to put a couple items back. I had my boyfriend go catch her to see if I could buy the couple of items for her. The cashier looked annoyed and said she did that for a reason because her son used her card and didn’t tell her. My response was, that’s irrelevant. She couldn’t get the rest of her items, so I would still like to. So my boyfriend said yes they wanted the items and so I told her to ring them up, and the clear irritation on her face and in her tone really bothered me. The shift leader Jess has a major attitude problem , when asked a simple question about the meat and markdown because today was the expiration date , he seemed very flustered and agitated when telling me “no we can’t do that” after telling me that there is no meat that expires today then me showing him that there is two packs of tbone that expire today he went ahead and told me after oh “nobody is here for that” very rudely and when I asked for his name again very rudely and proudly told me his name and that his a shift leader and that if I was listening to the first time I would’ve got it the first time .
