I can’t speak for those who complained prior to my visit. But when I tell you this is one of the best Chinese Spots in Tampa. That Bourbon chicken was SLAP. I ordered Bourbon Chicken with Lo Mein and it was so flavorful and JUICY. I hate to pick up my food and there isn’t enough sauce or the lo mein soaked up the juice. Not the case here. Whoever took my order over the phone was respectful, repeated my order and made an accommodation that I requested. Again, this food was slap. Far East is my Chinese fix when I am in the area for work. It sits in the same strip as Bank of America and Family Dollar. It is in an iffy location so just be careful. I ordered the food online and was able to pick up when it was ready which made things very convenient but I don't think their website is working anymore because I just tried to order some this week and it seemed that they didn't renew their website so you may have to call in your order and pay when you get there but it's not too bad. I always order the shrimp fried rice. It’s always hot & fresh and really good. A lot of places don’t put bean sprouts in the rice but they do here! I love it. Only downside is, they don’t put any veggies (peas or carrots) nor fried egg in the rice. Just rice, shrimp, onions & bean sprouts. They also don’t give you fortune cookies with your order as most Chinese restaurants do.
