Read moreI was excited to try this place. Was told 15-20 minute wait and 40 minutes later after standing outside in the heat we got a table. (They sat a party of 10 or so when only 2 people were there and then 30 minutes later the rest of the group joined. I’m not one to complain about stuff like this because I get it if someone is running a bit behind, but being this is a small little restaurant I thought this was a bit absurd). Took them over 15 minutes to bring my caramel macchiato when everyone else’s drinks were being taken to their tables no issue (I was told “sorry it’s late. We forgot” like oh ok.. . I was under the assumption everything was fresh (that’s my mistake) as everything seemed to be frozen except maybe my bread. I got the steak sandwhich grilled, it was suppose to be like a cheesesteak type thing. The meat was never chopped up. Just cooked flat and put on a piece of bread with cheese and onions. The Sandwhiches only flavor came from the cheese and onions. No other flavor was there. It also tasted very frozen. My husband got bacon which was very overcooked and burnt with French toast that tasted fine. When I went to pay I could see into the kitchen and noticed everything indeed was frozen, Walmart brand, and I saw cartoned eggs not fresh. I think for the price that is a bit ridiculous. I get everything is expensive but $3 for a small cup of Walmart grits that were very mush is absurd and $12 for a sandwich that had frozen meat is crazy. I wouldn’t come back if we were...
Read moreThis was my first time here & I will say that I will definitely will be coming back again soon!
The atmosphere is really nice & inviting, & the staff is super friendly! I ordered the huevos rancheros with corn tortillas, a beef empanada, a stuffed potato, & a café con leche. All of that came out to just over $20 before tip & I ended up leaving like a stuffed potato! They have their own in house hot sauce which was great, I put that on everything. the Empanada was fantastic, the inside was flavorful & the crust was nice & crispy. I'm always skeptical when it comes to stuffed potatoes like these because a lot of the time the inside ends up being super dry & bland, but thankfully that was not the case here. The stuffed potato held onto the potato consistency on the inside but was not dried out at all. The huevos rancheros was delicious as well, the homemade salsa with the eggs & the corn tortillas made for the perfect breakfast on a cool morning. You can choose to have flour tortillas instead of corn but do yourself the favor & get the corn tortillas you won't regret it!
The only downside to this place is that is tucked away in this plaza that has mostly Doctors offices in it so you would probably never know it's there if you weren't...
