El sabor Chapin — Restaurant in Tampa

Recently visited "El sabor Chapin" a Guatemalan based restaurant in Tampa. Which has honestly blown my mind It is a great hole in the wall location with very reasonable pricing for the portion of food you get. I visited this location with my family and received wonderful service from our server Abner, he was very attentive and even put the game on for me after I requested so.!! Addressed all of our questions on behalf of the cuisine which was delicious. They also have many traditional delights and beverages which my kids loved. If you guys are ever in Tampa. I recommend you guys visit...

The service at el sabor Chapin is unmatched. The staff was very attentive with my family and I. Our dishes were delicious from the shrimp soup to the steak with rice and beans etc, they were all tasty dishes. Our daughters got the birria tacos that my oldest loved and even our 1 year old got a tried on the rice and beans! And don’t get me started as well with the beverages! Fresh made waters were on point! I definitely recommend this restaurant not just for the dishes but as well because it’s a calm relaxing environment. I will be coming here more often...

The place is a small dive (7 tables). The right half is for Guatemalan groceries, snax, & soccer jerseys. The TVs play Latin music videos. The service is quick. I think the server is the owner. The clientele often do not speak English. The parking is sparse. My wife gets pupusas. I get tacos or tostadas de camarón. The food is delicious. The plates & utensils are clean. The food is cheap eats. Great food for cheap in lively atmosphere. It is right next to a strip joint, so guys could start their night here before...
