Yummi Crab Tampa — Restaurant in Tampa

This is a Chinese buffet. The only reason I go there is because I like buffets. They have all the standard Chinese buffet stuff except egg foo young. The staff is horrible. There's a Chinese man and woman who work in the eating area. They act very nervous like they're afraid of everyone. They always hang out in the back of the restaurant about 75 ft from the entrance. When you walk in, they shout at you, "Takeout? For here? Takeout? For here?" They always repeat everything twice. When you indicate that you're eating in, one of them directs you to a table. If it's the man, he shouts "Fow me! Fow me!" ("Follow me") and puts your silverware on the table. If it's the woman, she slaps her hand on the table and shouts, "Here! Here!". They are constantly yelling at each other in Chinese the whole time. If someone comes out of the kitchen to replenish the buffet, they yell at them too. Today when I came there for lunch, the woman was at a table sorting through a big plastic bin of silverware. The man directed me to sit at that same table. The woman started screaming at him in Chinese and pointed to another table. At this point I just have to regard it as a comedy show. When you pay with a credit card, the receipt says "Yummi Crab" so I guess it is...

My wife and I just happened on the place. Since it was a buffet, I was curious to see what was on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised to see a very neat and clean restaurant and friendly staff (Chinese). Of course, there is a slight accent and sometimes the communication is in phrases, but I could understand the staff well enough. My wife and I decided to skip the takeout option and eat at the restaurant itself. The food had a good array of Chinese dishes as in a regular Chinese buffet. The food was quite tasty. Service was horrible. The owners were rude and aggressive. In fact, they argued with my wife when she told them we were overcharged. They shout across the restaurant constantly while you are eating. A lot of the food on the buffet was cold. This place has low quality and overpriced food. Finally, I went to the bathroom and an employee came in to use the bathroom.
