READ ALL BAD REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE. I have read most of the bad reviews and all deem true based on my one experience. When my girlfriend and I arrived we were directed towards a table, except the hostess waited for us to walk ahead of her, forcing us to have to keep looking back to see where we would be seated. We ordered two waters and got up to get our food. I got some of the fried rice and realized it could really use some salt. I walked all around the restaurant and then asked a waiter for salt and was told they have no salt. There were signs at every table reading that each plate with food still on it would cost an additional $3. Already knowing that this was the kind of restaurant to take money from you in every way possible, I was careful as to what I chose. I picked up what I believed to be an egg roll, but when biting into it I immediately felt like throwing up. It tasted like peanut butter and rice and looking into the roll, that's what it looked like it was. Not wanting to risk the $3 charge, since my girlfriend and I are in financial binds, I put the roll on the floor. I felt bad at the time, but upon further attendance at the restaurant I came to feel they deserved that kind of customer feedback. Not learning from my first plate, I got up to get another. On my way to the buffet I saw a waiter pouring rice from one tray to another at the buffet. He spilled a significant portion on the counter and then wiped it all into the serving tray. On my second serving I got what I believe to be a crab cake on a shell, I will say that is the one good thing I can say about this restaurant because that was very good. But it's hard to tell what anything in the buffet is since nothing is marked. Near the end of our second plates both me and my girlfriends waters were completely empty, and it was a good five minutes before a waitress came to refill them. After desert I went to the bathroom, walking along the severely sticky floor over to a very slippery patch where I nearly fell back into an even stickier bathroom. Upon coming back my girlfriend was using my card to pay the bill as the waitress stood over her as she wrote it out. Knowing our financial situation she decided to leave a low tip, generous considering all the staff did for us was bring us two glasses of water, but nevertheless low. As I sat down the waitress snatches the bill, turns around and looks at it, then turns back around, getting close enough to my girlfriend for her to feel threatened and yells "TWO DOLLARS", loud enough for the entire restaurant to go silent and stare at us. She then slams the bill onto the table and gives me a death stare as she watches me write a larger tip. I put five dollars, stretching my budget as far as I felt comfortable for two glasses of water with no new ice. After I was done writing the tip the waitress snatches the bill again, looks at it and then walks away. I wish I could of done more to show that restaurants staff how terrible they are other than leave peanut butter passing as chinese food on the floor and this review. All I can do is plead to whoever reads this to NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. I wish nothing but the worst for this restaurants staff and I hope that this and all the other bad reviews are enough to bring this restaurant to...
Read moreThe product, itself, is ... well ... decent. I guess. I won't say anything bad about the food unless it's actually BAD, which it's not. However, both the restaurant itself and the staff are completely unsatisfactory, and represent the worst type of garbage one can fear for when dining out.
To start with, the restroom REEKS of feces. I understand what happens in a bathroom, but that is no excuse to not use an air freshener and/or ventilation system. None of the towel dispensers or air dryers work. This is a HUGE red flag for any restaurant.
Moving on to the abysmal staff ... they can only be described as something out of a B-movie from the 80's playing into stereotypes of ill-mannered Chinese people. Except this time it's real and most certainly NOT entertaining. They fail to speak with respect, and regard you with what can only be described as open contempt. I waited for over 15 minutes and NOT ONCE did the waiter visit my table to see if anything needed to be taken away or if my drink needed to be refilled. To the latter, I was informed that they would only refill my soda 2-3 times. Uh-huh ... nice try. SCAM ALERT.
Lastly, and more importantly, they represent a TERRIBLE HEALTH RISK to their patrons. I personally watched as my waiter rubbed sanitizing lotion OVER HER GLOVES. In a pandemic era, this is bordering on CRIMINAL behavior. I also witnessed a large cockroach scurry across the floor mere inches from one of the buffet tables.
To say the least --- STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING HEALTH HAZARD CALLING ITSELF...
