I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jersey Mike’s for lunch, and while the experience started off slightly differently than I anticipated, it turned out to be nothing short of fantastic. Typically, one of my favorite parts of visiting Jersey Mike’s is the warm and enthusiastic “Welcome to Jersey Mike’s!” greeting when I walk through the door. This time, however, I noticed that the greeting was absent, and I had to initiate the conversation with the team member to place my order. While this departure from the usual energy stood out, it didn’t detract from the overall quality of my visit, as the service itself remained friendly, professional, and efficient.
The restaurant itself left a great impression. It was exceptionally clean, with a well-thought-out layout that made it easy to navigate and added to the overall inviting atmosphere. I appreciate when a dining space is both functional and well-maintained, as it elevates the entire experience and shows attention to detail on the management’s part.
For my meal, I decided on a regular Chipotle Cheesesteak, which I customized by adding lettuce—a simple adjustment, but one that added a refreshing crunch to the rich, savory flavors of the sandwich. From the very first bite, I knew I’d made a great choice. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, while the chipotle sauce brought just the right amount of smoky heat to the mix. The bread, which is always a highlight at Jersey Mike’s, was fresh and soft with a slight chewiness that held everything together beautifully. This was, hands down, one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had in a long time—absolutely top-tier in every way.
All things considered, this visit to Jersey Mike’s was an amazing experience. The minor hiccup with the lack of a greeting didn’t overshadow the cleanliness of the space, the great service, or the incredible food. I would wholeheartedly recommend this location to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal in a clean and welcoming environment. The Chipotle Cheesesteak, especially with a personal touch like adding lettuce, is a must-try. It’s an easy 10/10 from me, and I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreThis would get a 5 star, but the only reason I give 3 is because of one employee Allie. I went in for a sandwich on my 30 minute lunch break. I walked in at 1:05 to an empty store, and walked out at 1:20 with a full line of people waiting to order. There was one customer in front of me who ordered 3 sandwiches. I am not exaggerating when I say the one employee Allie who was doing the toppings, took her sweet time. At one point she walked away cause she had to get her drink. She was talking to anyone and everyone except the customer about what she wanted on her sandwiches. When it was time to start putting the veggies on the sandwiches, she was sorting through the lettuce very meticulously, making designs on each sandwich with the onions, and carefully dollop in each squirt of oil and vinegar. She was very slow and when another employee came up to put her on another position, customers in line clapped! When another employee came over to take her spot with the toppings, all the sandwiches got done within less than 30 seconds. The other employees were fast...
Read moreMy sandwich was ok but the complaint lies how the staffing is treating customers. The female making my sandwich has a serious attitude. I told her specifically light mayo and pepper relish only to get the full serving. I was asked if I would like it Mike's way and I said yes please. I asked can I also have organo, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar which the sandwich maker said "that's Mike way!" Instead of wanting to talk down to customers she should of explained it nicely to me because I rarely eat here. She should have listened to the way I wanted my sandwich made and kept the attitude. Mind you the restaurant was empty. Also the cashier should not be slicing sandwiches and touching money, wall, and computer screen. I don't really blame him it seems they were treating him bad too as a trainee. I won't go back to this location again. I work to hard to be treated like this on a...
