McDonald's — Restaurant in Tampa

I absolutely HATE this location so much!!!!! It's only a couple of blocks from my work so I've been here several times a week for a couple years now, so my review is based off of multiple infuriating experiences, not just 1 or 2. At least half my visits start off where I get to sit at the order speaker and watch them take orders from 3-4 cars in the other line (all of which arrived after me) before they ever ask for my order! By the time I even get to order I've already spent close to 5 frustrating minutes in line... Then literally 9 ot of 10 times, I'm asked to park in their drive thru spot where I then get to wait for sometimes up to 10 minutes! (I never order anything with a special request and I never act like a jerk so it's not because of that!) Now, they finally give me my order.... there's almost ALWAYS something wrong with it!! (if it's even the correct order at all!) Quite often they givr me a burnt mcmuffin or undercooked bacon, or the sandwich looks like it was assembled by a 3 year old, or the cheese was almost completely off the sandwich and 3/4 is melted onto the wrapper...ETC...I literally cannot believe how bad this location is so I'm done wasting my time and money!!! I refuse to spend another penny there, regardless of how convenient the location is cause I just can't handle the aggravation anymore and it's apparently unavoidable with this location. I recently placed an order through DoorDash for a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast from my local McDonald's on the morning of Sunday, April 21st(5am). Understanding the fast pace of the morning rush, I immediately called the store seconds after placing my order to request a small but important detail for me – to have my egg scrambled instead of the standard preparation.

After waiting a few minutes on the line, a staff member answered and informed me that my order had already been picked up, which was surprising and incorrect as I hadn't yet received any notification from DoorDash about my driver being en route to McDonald's. This turned out to be a blatant misinformation, as it took another 15 minutes before I was notified that my driver was actually on their way to pick up my order.

Given this mix-up, I held on to a slim hope that perhaps the confusion might lead to closer attention to my special request. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon receiving my order, I discovered that my request for a scrambled egg had been overlooked, and I was presented with the regular preparation.

While I understand that the breakfast rush can be a hectic time, clear communication and attention to customer requests are crucial for a positive experience. This incident was disappointing, not only because my simple request was not fulfilled but also due to the misleading information provided by the staff. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve service and communication...

We ordered the chicken nuggets meal and the double quarter pounder meal two apple pies and a KitKat McFlurry. Food tasted good but the meat was dry on the DQP the fry's were slightly warm and didn't make it home before they got cold and soggy. The chicken nuggets we also just ok slightly warm when we got home. The guy at the window was just standing there when he gave us the food he told us have a nice day. It he didn't give us the McFlurry. So he went and made one but came back with the Oreo McFlurry when we ordered the KitKat McFlurry. So he had to go make a new one with KitKat. It wasn't until we got home that I realized they forgot the two apple pies we ordered. So I called and the guy was nice and told us to just come back in and get them. Also we never received a receipt and there were at least three employees that we saw that were in there phone and one even had an AirPod in her ear. She was one of the ones busy in her phone while she was trying to make a frappe for another customer but was too busy on her phone to get that frappe out with good service because she was to focused on her phone. Definitely will avoid this McDonald from now on. It seems I have an issue here every time I go there. I don't eat McDonald often but when I do there is always an issue at most locations I'm not upset because it's getting resolved without an issue but doesn't make me...
