Oriental Fish Co — Restaurant in Tampa

I had a chance to visit Oriental Fish Co today and my experience was awesome! From the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out… service was exceptional. The fried shrimp and fries were finger licking good!!! The size of the shrimp were beyond the average size. The fries were seasoned and plentiful. I also purchased a dozen of blue crabs. They were extra large and very meaty and had the best flavor I’ve ever tasted. I have to give this place 5 stars across the board. Customer service was great from the young man that picked out the live crabs to the guys cleaning fish and the sweet ladies in the kitchen. Even the cashier had top of the line customer service. Fried food is usally good but it's really hit or miss. The biggest problem is inconsistency. I called ahead and ordered two dinners today at 4:35 and by 5:45 I left empty handed. The person who took the order never mentioned an extensive wait or about any shortages. I get there and after an hour of waiting with many dissatisfied others, I overhead another customer who complained that another batch of fish had to be brought in at the last minute. I'm like what??? I was in search of some smoked mullet and fried crabs.I was lead back to an old neighborhood staple which is Marvin's or now called Orientals.
