Cuscaden Park — Attraction in Tampa

Update: as of early 2025 the courts are in pretty rough condition. Courts are cracked and uneven. Still great people showing up to play. Come by early in the morning and you'll generally have games to cycle in and out of.

The bathroom is locked all of the time (they had some problems) so if the pool isn't open you are out of luck for a bathroom.

Old review: We came here to play pickleball. There are 6 courts (free) and the two of us had a court to ourselves right away. Courts are in nice condition, we played at 1 in the afternoon (end of March) and some of them were partially shaded.

This park offers something for the kid in all of us. From a pool, to the basketball court, baseball field, and playground area. People play football in the grassy areas. The only reason I deducted a star is not any fault of the park itself. But rather some of the people who frequent the park and don't have the intentions of respecting it.
