New shop only open for a couple of months. Nice choice of sandwiches Nice people working though the guy topping the sandwiches seemed like he had never made a sandwich in his life and was scared to do anything. I swear when he applied the mayonnaise he used a squeeze bottle with a pin hole on the tip. You could write multiple words in cursive across the sandwich using it. He literally put a v from top of one side to the middle bottom back to the other side! Then put the bottle down and asked what else I wanted on the sandwich...... I kept asking for more mayo and he would do the same thing again and again. I literally said more, more, more till I gave up thinking he would just keep applying it till I said that's enough!!!!!!!! Which it was not by far! Not sure if the owner advised him to be sparse on the toppings to save a dime or what. That being said The sandwiches we ate were very very dry due to no mayonnaise. The amount of meat was o k You can taste the quality of the meats they buy. The other sandwich we tried was the meatball. On a six inch sandwich the guy was trying to put six basically one inch meatballs cut in half across this 6 inch sandwich. There was way too much space in between meatballs (cut in half). When you are making the cheapest to build sandwich on the menu you should impress the customer with substance not lack of substance... It on average cost .75 for the 3 meatballs (cut in half) .20 for the marinara sauce and .20 for the provolone cheese ( btw cut in half= one slice) and the bread I will say cost .75 Total estimated cost wholesale $1.90 Retail at register was $ 6+ Roughly a $4.00 profit minus the employees per hour @ $35 for three of them at 5 minutes to make the sandwich- on one sandwich that should've cost $3.50. Now if they put correct amount of condiments and meatballs (8+ whole) I can see paying a little more for a good solid lunch. $28.00 for a sandwich and a half two very small bags of chips one 12oz shake and a large soda probably $8.00 to much. For a few more $ you could eat at olive garden for a full meal Now The taste was ok Quality bread Quality meats Just not a lot of substance on the meats and condiments. To the owners i pay and patronage quality establishments with quality products. I haven't been to any other national sandwich company in 10+ years because they have sub quality products you can change my mind. With some improvements. Publix sandwiches are one to look...
Read moreTuesday was my first time coming here, and I had a terrible experience. They messed up my order and my sandwich was missing items, I only got a BLT!! How do you forget parts of a BLT?!? Theirs comes with avocado so it’s a BLTA, I also add provolone cheese on my sandwich. On Tuesday my sandwich has no tomato and I called and took it back, they fixed it and I was able to eat it and it was actually good. Which prompted me to go back today….which was a huge mistake because yet again they did not add cheese or avocado and had very little bacon. I don’t think that it’s very fair that people in the food industry get to make mistakes like this, because I’m a medical assistant, and if I made a mistake like this somebody’s life would be on the line. There’s no excuse for having terrible comprehension skills, please hire staff that knows how to listen and take orders and read a ticket with items on it because this is just ridiculous. My lunch breaks are only 30 minutes and all I want to do is cry about my sandwich smh, Potbelly yall are very...
Read moreMy girls and I have been missing Potbelly and were thrilled to see they had a Tampa location. However, once we were there, we were looking for the side salads (coleslaw, potato, and macaroni salads) and they had no idea what I was talking about. Secondly, I asked for a wreck salad and once again I was met with complete confusion. I also asked for oil and vinegar on my sandwich and again they didn't have it. They charged me extra for a couple ingredients on one if the sandwiches. We are from Chicago and have had Potbelly for MANY years. Our order is almost always the same. It was extremely disappointing to be so excited to have a Potbelly and not have the side salads, or the sandwich the way I like it. Why is this?? Why would a sandwich company not have oil and vinegar when even Subway has them? Why take away the side salads when every restaurant in Chicago has all 3? It was disappointing and made our excitement turn to...
