Stepping inside, I was instantly immersed in a Tulum-inspired sanctuary, with earthy tones, soft ambient lighting, and the scent of palo santo mingling with freshly brewed coffee. The space feels like a bohemian jungle retreat, complete with woven textiles, lush greenery, and a tranquil energy that mirrors Tulum’s blend of raw nature and soulful mindfulness.

Laura, one of the most welcoming hosts, greeted me with a radiant smile and a contagious passion for coffee. Her guided coffee tasting felt like a sacred ceremony straight out of a Tulum beachside café, with each cup unveiling stories of its origins, from misty highlands to sun-drenched plantations. Laura’s serene presence and deep knowledge made every sip a meditative moment, perfectly capturing Tulum’s vibe of intentional living and connection to the earth. Lily, with her warm and vibrant spirit, elevated the experience by curating an atmosphere that felt like a Tulum full-moon gathering. Her thoughtful touches, from selecting ethereal, rhythmic music that echoed Tulum’s beachside DJ sets to engaging with me in a way that felt like reconnecting with an old friend, created a sense of community and spiritual alignment. It was as if Tulum’s open-hearted, free-spirited ethos had been bottled and poured into the space.

Alexa, alongside Laura, infused the coffee-making process with artistry and soul. Her lively yet profound explanations of LIVE coffee, freshly roasted and brewed with meticulous care, evoked the reverence of a Tulum cacao ceremony. Every pour felt like an offering, and Alexa’s ability to connect with me added a layer of authenticity that resonated with Tulum’s focus on living fully in the present moment, surrounded by beauty and intention.

Disappointed ☹️ waited long time for this spot to open, finally made it there for Mother’s Day last night. Drove there 45 minutes. The servers were confused about the menu options. Didn’t really know what was and what wasn’t available. Then it turned out that all of our choices wasn’t available. We ordered two things: flatbread that totally mismatched the description: missed garlic, feta cheese, arugula, and balsamic glaze. We also ordered charcuterie board, and it looked and tasted like it was just cheap pre-packed Publix version. So sad. On the top of that, the service took enormously long even though the place wasn’t crowded / busy. There was 3 servers and they wasn’t communicating with each other at all. The only good thing about this place was very good quality...

If I could spend every lunch hour here, I would :) The drinks and food are enjoyable and the staff is friendly (Lily the owner is so nice!!), but my favorite thing about Tango Brew is its atmosphere. It reminds me of a Parisian cafe - elegantly designed yet relaxed, the bar side of the cafe open to the outdoors, letting in the perfect breeze and natural warmth without too much heat even at noon (really appreciate when I’m in a freezing office all day) - not too packed or too empty - the perfect place to decompress in the middle of a work day.
