The Rocky Pointe Cafe — Restaurant in Tampa

Sooo charming! This quaint lil place has all the breakfast essentials and a cute couple that prepares everything to order. I appreciated all the options available for a lot of different folks- decadent, healthy, hearty and vegetarian.

I ordered a western omelet, added ham and cheese on top. It came so hearty, cheesy and yummy!...heaven. You can't see the onion and yellow peppers but they are there and delish! Hubby had a toasted ham and egg on cuban bread sandwich with some steaming hot coffee. He said everything was amazing.

My rating is not on the food as we didn’t get to eat there. We walked from our hotel over a mile to get there based on ratings and hours of operation. The sign on door showed hours of operation and it should have been open but doors locked. That wouldn’t have been so bad, except the woman working there, just brushed us away through the glass doors and put her head down. No politeness, no apology, no explanation that could have helped us understand the reason for the closure. Good news as we walked back, we found Rocky Point Deli in an office building. I will be rating this incredible breakfast, and great service next. No excuses for rude...

The food is mediocre at best and definitely not worth $12 a wrap. I ordered a veggie wrap with a scoop of egg salad, could have more veggies.. The vegetarian options are disappointing, and both the potato salad and egg salad are underwhelming. On top of that, they charge over $4 just to add egg salad. I could get a much better wrap or sub from Publix or Subway for a lower price. Honestly, a smoothie or coffee shop would be a far better option than what’s currently available.
