My wife and I planned a date night for this Friday (6/27/2025) and made a reservation at 8:30pm. We arrived at 8:25pm and checked in at the host stand where a gentleman in a dark burgundy suit let us know, without any apology, that they are not seating reservations at this time due to a possible storm outside. So they were bringing outside tables in and there was no seating inside left. The host said there were multiple parties in front of us so I asked how long the wait would be and he simply said “I can’t say,” he wouldn’t give any estimate. I then asked if the bar was first come first serve to which he replied, very sarcastically, “Yes it is, but every seat is full and there is a crowd waiting behind the bar for seats.” Mind you, this is while the bar is in plain view, I could clearly see it was full but I was trying to determine whether or not my wife and I should attempt to wait or give up. He displayed zero sympathy for our situation.

So we arrived on time with a reservation and were told we would not be seated, that the bar was full, and there was zero estimate on how long the wait would be. He said all of this without any apology or empathy. They also never texted or emailed any notice that we may not get a seat.

After waiting behind the bar for 20 minutes hoping some seats would open up, I asked the host how many tables were in front of us and he said there was 4. He still didn’t give an estimate on the wait time, so we left.

We then had to try and find an open table at a restaurant in Tampa on a Friday night at 9pm, which is more or less impossible. We ended up getting takeout.

By far the worst customer experience I have ever had in any restaurant in Tampa. I can’t even speak to the food because we never got to try it.

I understand that the weather can be unpredictable during hurricane season, but why they would book every outside and inside table with reservations when it has rained every night for the last two weeks makes no sense. On top of this, there is no option when selecting a reservation for indoor or outdoor. They seem to have zero system for reservations if the weather is bad and no empathy for overbooking and leaving people stranded without tables on a Friday night.

Completely ruined our date night. Beware, having a reservation doesn’t mean...

We recently had dinner at Casa Cami, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly set the tone for the evening. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed—stylish yet comfortable, with an inviting ambiance that makes you feel both relaxed and indulged at the same time. We were seated at a table that had the perfect view of the horizon, and as dinner unfolded, we were treated to one of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. Watching the sun slowly dip into the water while enjoying a delicious meal made the experience feel almost magical. It’s not every day that dining out feels like a true event, but at Casa Cami, it truly does. The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, offering thoughtful recommendations and making sure everything was timed perfectly. Drinks were replenished quickly, plates cleared smoothly, and every detail was handled with care. Their knowledge of the menu also stood out—they clearly take pride in the dishes they serve. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely incredible. Each dish came out beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and that there is a lot of attention to detail in every bite. From appetizers to dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a nice balance between creativity and comfort, with enough variety to please different palates without feeling overwhelming. What really makes Casa Cami special, though, is how it combines great dining with an unforgettable setting. The sunset view alone is worth coming for—it adds a whole other layer to the experience, turning dinner into something you’ll remember for a long time. Overall, Casa Cami delivered on every level: atmosphere, service, food, and the kind of scenic beauty you just can’t find everywhere. It’s the perfect place for a romantic evening, a special celebration, or simply to treat yourself to a beautiful night out. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to...

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start with this review. I have been looking forward to trying this place for a long time. I arrived with my husband and immediately went to the bar to get a couple drink drinks and the service at the bar was great! I was very excited to get our table and enjoy a dinner and a couple more drinks with my husband. We ended up getting sat during our reservation time and I was very excited for a great evening and I have been excited to try this place. I booked a reservation because the last couple times they didn’t have any seating and I figured on a Saturday it would have been busy. When we arrived to our table, we sat there for 15 minutes and nobody came. We gave it a couple more minutes and still nobody came by. So we ended up deciding to leave. We told the host that we’re leaving and they could not seem to care…. We told the host was fine and we’re just gonna head out because we are starving. I understand being busy, but please make a note to stop by the table and say that you’re busy instead of completely ignoring us. Especially wanting to try this place for months. :(

So I’m unable to rate the food because I was not able to be served. The bartenders were great and fast and very polite!

It pains to write this review, but they didn’t even call me today to ask about it so that lets me know that the host did not mention it to the manager or anything!

I’ve worked in a service industry for 10 years and I Understand being busy, but you need to communicate that and it was supposed to be a special night for us and we’re unable to...

We had reservations for 8:15 but our table was not ready when we arrived at 8:04. No big deal we thought. We stood at the bar for 40 minutes looking at empty tables and counting down when we would be sat as we watched others seat before us. There was this makeshift table placed in a doorway. After standing for 40 minutes and joking that the makeshift table is for people with no revelations, they then tried to seat us at the makeshift table. The table was just as bad as standing for 40 minutes so we declined the crappy table. We had seen an empty table for two in the loud, brightly lit dining area not far from the makeshift table which sat vacant for at least 30 minutes so we inquired about it. The hostess said “that table is not available.” During a seating crisis all empty tables should be available to patrons with reservations. Two seats then opened at the bar at 8:50 so after standing nearly an hour with reservations for a table we sat at the bar. Though we didn’t want to eat so late, it was our only option. We each ordered an appetizer, a salad, and an entree which all came out at the same time. The bartender was sympathetic to our plight so she served us a drink on the house. Moral of the story: Reservations or not—it doesn’t matter here. You’re gonna wait a while for a table so why bother with making reservations? Just show up. The food is great but they have a seating crisis.

First off definitely make reservations on open table weeks ahead! Times are limited when I made them 6 weeks ago. Inside noise level is pretty loud we were next to outside entrance so it does get very warm and humid so dress accordingly! We started with salsa trio, queso and guacamole appetizers. Frozen and house margaritas were really good! The mojito was outstanding! Most of us had tacos carne asada and Pollo tacos and pork fajitas. We also tried the tuna ceviche tostada and among the 5 of us those were the best tasting appetizer we had! The queso was amazing, guacamole okay missing something not sure what. For dessert we had the flautas 10/10 and churros with ice cream. Birthday person received a scoop of ice cream with chocolate syrup which was his favorite so that was good! The ambiance, the view from 10th floor all beautiful. Definitely recommend for a special occasion celebration or a nice dinner date. For 3 of us it was $210 before tip 252 after. So not something you would want to do weekly. There is parking 2nd and 3rd floor garage or valet for $10 very reasonable. Hotel is beautiful too!
