HORRIBLE service from the woman in the photo. Please fire her. When I arrived the place was empty, my husband and I were the only ones there. We ordered two milk teas and one slush. There was a second worker there (a male) who originally took our order and was kind and efficient. He started making our drinks but had to pause as several new people entered the store and needed to order too.
The male worker asked the female worker to come help make drinks. She was slow and acted inconvenienced, walking around with her headphones on and looking down at her phone a lot. Thanks to the man, we got our two milk teas right away. But then we waited 20 minutes for the woman to make our slush. She waltzed around for a while in the back filling buckets with ice and refilling the ice everywhere. When she finally did start making the slush drink, I was relieved, only to find out she made it for the person who ordered AFTER I DID and not for me. Once she finally made mine, she left it sitting in the blender for a while and went back to walking around. Then made its way into a cup and was again left in the lid sealing machine for a long time while she disappeared. Finally the male worker noticed and asked me what I was waiting on and handed me my drink.
There is no way a woman as incompetent as her should be working here. I shouldn’t be waiting 30 minutes on a drink while she plays on her phone and does laps around the store. Please...
Read moreThe atmosphere is small and cozy. It was also clean. When I went in, no one was dining in. I ordered my ramen online, and when I walked in, I seen a bag sitting on the table in front of where everyone stands to order their food, but the bag was turned around so I couldn't read the ticket. If It would have been facing forward, I wouldn't have had to stand in line. I didn't want to butt ahead just to hope and check if it was mine so I patiently waited......It was mine....I was so excited to get ramen, as I wasn't feeling good and I hadn't had great ramen since leaving Japan... I do like that they give the soup separately so the noodles don't get soggy when ordering to-go. I ordered the blackened garlic pepper ramen as it is my go to flavor for ramen typically, unless I go really spicy. As soon as I opened the soup, I smelled a very burnt scent. I didn't think much of it at first, and poured it over the toppings. This just made it worse. Everything ended up tasting burnt and left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth. I was so upset. I spent almost $18 on a bowl of Ramen that wasn't worth $7. I won't go back there for their food, but I would be willing to try to their teas or other flavored drinks. I was just disappointed...
Read moreI stopped by Token Ramen for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot for both solo diners and groups. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
I decided to try the veggie ramen, which was a delightful choice. The bowl was generously filled with fresh ingredients, including broccoli, tofu, mushrooms, and corn, all immersed in a rich, flavorful broth. The broth was warm, hearty, and perfectly seasoned, complementing the vegetables and tofu beautifully. Every bite was satisfying, and the combination of textures and flavors made for a well-balanced and comforting meal.
Overall, my visit to Token Ramen was a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the ambiance was enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great bowl of ramen, and I will definitely...
